Perhaps their failure of warden is to blame for that

Warden failed because it breached a bunch of privacy laws and Blizzard lost a big lawsuit over that. I don't blame them for that and while I would like cheaters out of my games, I understand the 'bigger picture' principles at stake there.

more like blizzard wont do shit to botters anyways. there are literally people with 20+hr play time per day and blizzard doesnt ban them

they just did a ban wave, including Gabynator--a well known streamer.

yeah that was for hellfire exploit not botting

they banned him for exploiting not botting afaik

And how would they detect bots? By scanning your computer, I mean every game out there right now has issues with 3rd party software. Some exploits are stupidly easy for them to detect, especially something like the Hellfire bug and bloodshard bug. But third party software is trickier depending on how it's written.

Things like Turbohub are basically impossible for Warden (as restricted by court order) to detect as an example.

I know being online for ridiculous hours is a pretty big red flag, but how is that proof that someone's botting? It's not nearly enough for the standards Blizzard likely has to use for the slim chance it leads to legal action.

Also, in Heroes a bunch of people recently got banned for using a specific gfx card, that's just bad PR / CS =p. So I understand why they have to tread carefully even if there aren't legal issues to be worried about.

well having 20+ per day is easy to detect. unless someone sleeping for 4 hours per day from the start of the season till now is a real possibility. i mean just look at gabynator, he is at 1389 right now after being banned, i dont know how much evidence you really need there.

I didn't say it was hard to detect, just that all it gives you is implication. It's not proof that they're botting especially not in an era of 24 hour streams regularly happening.

They could be online that long for non-bot reasons too, sure a lot of those reasons are against ToS, but if you can't identify which term of service their violating then can you really ban them (not to mention the outside change it was legit)?

If somehow everyone fessed up when they were banned Blizz could just do that with impunity, but that's not the world we live in and they have to justify what they do and justify it accurately.

ya but im really sure that gaby showed the email afterwards on his stream. probably cant find it through his vods cause he deleted it, im sure. i mean he deleted his entire vod to when he got banned on sept 23.

and everything i can google from that banwave on the 23rd all say it was only HFA exploit

http://www.ros-bot.com/forums/general-discussion/banned-hf-exploit-208988

everyone in there says that they used HFA exploit and got banned

http://i.imgur.com/8YUHPDs.png

that is his ticket trying to get it reversed

With a generator build I just cleared a Gr45 in 5:06. Before that i cleared it in 6+. I think i have cleared it in 4+ to. Reaching the 5+min mark feels bad. Not sure what my average is, will probably clear a few now in a row with this build i have.
RnG is RnG to, but at average what time do ppl clear Gr45?

http://d3resource.com/difficulties.png

Thats an difficulty overview that says what kind of droprate there is on T6 etc. Not 100% accurate.
According to that overview, farming TX is not the effecient way to get legendaries. At the same time, at GR44+ blizzard increased the "loot from boss".

Well, it all depends on the speed and ease you can clear it, is it not? Why would yo go on a lower torment level, when you can wreck TX?

Except for bounties, of course.

deponds how u mean with wrecking

I can clear T8 at average 2,3minute with my WW barb. I think average for TX is about 4.5min.
My math isnt good but lets say these numbers are absolute and we look at that graph, which is faster for legandaries?

Doing HC 45 with my new crusader....who got very lucky and somehow crafted a 2900~ johannas -_-

Running F+R (justice) + sacred harness. Toughness only clocking at 17mil no buffs so Im ridiculously squishy at the moment. Thankfully I havent even had the chance to pop either passives in GR, only had a heart stopping 10 seconds where my hp remained empty and no cd on potion.

Hopefully this one wont die prematurely like my two barbs
