Swampert (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
Lead. Dents many other leads (especially ones that predictably use Taunt), sets up Stealth Rock pretty reliably, and can come back VERY often in the game to sponge physical hits.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Perish Song
- Recover
- Toxic
Stops bulky waters and setup pokemon cold. Sponges damage, then heals it right back.
Gyarados (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
My primary setup sweeper. Taunt catches most T-Wave users completely off guard, and leaves some physical walls unable to wall Gyarados, often giving me a free DD on the switch.
Heatran (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Explosion
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
A team core. Takes fire-type hits aimed at Celebi, then gives Togekiss and Gyarados ground-type hits to set up on, often choiced. It'll tear through teams that have nothing to stop it.
Infernape (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 192 Spd / 64 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Overheat
- Stone Edge
Plays a similar role to Heatran, but breaks walls more easily, especially Blissey. Dents even pokemon that resists its moves.
Togekiss (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Spd / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Body Slam
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Aura Sphere
Basically a flying Blissey. Even super effective BoltBeam hits from Life Orbed pokemon often don't hit the 50% needed to take Togekiss out. It also spreads paralysis and kills slow or paralyzed pokemon.

A team which is strangely effective for one which is heavy on the special attackers.
