My team has a jungler, yours does not. Chances of my team winning increase. My team is 5 carries, your team is 5 supports. Chances of my team winning increase. Et cetera. Rock Paper Scissors is a game of "perfect numbers." The value of Rock will always beat the value of Scissors. You can play all you want, you can be as good as you want, you can use all the irrational math you want. The success of any particular player in solo que is more dependant on luck than nearly anything else. Sure, skill will see that player through more wins than if they were less skilled. I win plenty of games because I'm simply tired of my terrible teammates and my incredible knowledge of human psychology tells me that if you lead, idiots will follow. So I simply tell them what the correct thing to do is and they do it. Then we win. You're an idiot because you made the most stereotypical garbage low-intelligence post ever. "You're not a high ELO solo que because you're bad." Completely ridiculous. So ridiculous in fact, that I'm not going to argue any further. In the early stages of HoN beta this argument was seen a lot due to the methodical tracking of PSR. In the end, PSR is only a valid short-term measurement system. Meaning that only in a non-specific short amount of time does the number have any relevance to a players skill. I was near 1700 PSR, then I hit a 2 week losing streak and found my way to 1340. 2 weeks later I was again almost 1700 PSR. Only a fucking moron like yourself would look at the few days I was 1340 and think that was a genuine reflection of my actual skill level or that I somehow deserved to be at that level due to anything I actually did. i can't believe im responding to this but this game isn't about perfect numbers. there is no rock paper scissors. why do top players stay at the top and bottom players stay at the bottom? rock will not always beat scissors, it's more like c-rock beats c-scissors but b-scissors beats b-rock. at really shitty levels of elo you can beat counters very easily. katarina vs ashe is a good example, almost an extreme example. kat kills ashe very easily, however a good ashe will still beat a really shitty katarina. once you get to like a 1500 level then the matchup is nearly unwinnable, but 900 elo it's very feasible. you pit up the top player in 900 elo and he'll get out quite easily, this isn't all about luck. you're almost acting like there isn't player skill in this game and more of a leadership role, which is complete non-sense. lead your retarded team all the way to 1900 solo ranked, i dare you. stop acting like a intelligent asshole, stop blaming your losses on luck. shitty teamates happen, good teamates happen.there is luck but there is also skill, deal with it | ||

You basically never want redundancy unless you are morde (Ignite+ult to make it worth casting) or any champ with an integrated flash on a 20ish sec CD (Ez, Trynd to some extent). While the champs that doubledip into flash do it because they need an escape tool to save their lives clairvoyance is used to reveal a key area where you guess a gank is coming/baron or dragon are being made/you know that you'll get an idea of where the whole opposing team is. Once you hit a cv/hawkshot you either know that your opponents are there or to the only other logical spot, SR is not exactly huge and wards will help you cover it. Where wards can not reach the CD on your hawkshot or CV will be enough to catch the missing opponent clump. And if you're planning on hero-sniping people from across the map most of the times you can just guess their position, but doing it through the FoW is 99% of the times pointless anyways. On triple snowballs: at low ELO/smurf level your allies will be as bad as your opponents, therefore just count on getting tons of money from your kills and you'll be fine. | ||

I didn't say always, I didn't say mostly. I was responding to what was relevant. It happened. Maybe you never saw an Ashe with clair, but I have seen a handful. As you probably know, being a top ELO player, Ashe is the most played champion pre-season 1. Statistically she boasts around 5% usage. I'm sure there is a portion of that which attributes from people who just came from the tutorial and wanted to try Ashe, but how many of you actually mained Ashe first because she was in the tutorial? Not anybody I know of. My point is there was variety. There have been good Ashe with ghost+cleanse, and there have been bad Ashe with ghost+cleanse. Likewise with clair. If you didn't see any good Ashe with clair, you didn't play enough. So obviously you aren't talking about ALL Ashes. Maybe you have this preconceived notion that all Ashes who had clair were bad. And, additionally, you want to criticize me for saying something that is true, indirectly call me a bad player without knowing anything about me, then tell someone you'll explain something that is seemingly simple tomorrow incase no one that you deem a "good player" answers it. If you need a "good player" to explain something so simple, why ghost/flash is the optimal decision for most carries now, and why someone who basically has a built in clair to not get clair, then I guess we are all pretty much great players here. Hopefully you'll make a new rendition of what a good player is because I met the qualification for the last one, but clearly I don't meet the qualification to speak about Ashe and clair. Excited to see an update so everyone here can conform so we don't look too dumb on this thread! Would hate to upset you. | ||
