Edit: Another example - Kass generally obliterates MF. Just ask HeavOnEarth. However an MF last night fought me to a standstill by going all-out on me with double-up and the rain of bullets with autoattack. She used her movement speed not to attempt to avoid me but to try to kill me, and in the war of attrition she'd start to win out because she simply does more damage than my Q. That's the sort of playstyle you NEED to swap to against Kassadin. You can't hope he won't hit you. How do you do against sivirs who are very good with their spell shields? | ||

I think tanky builds like banshees veil and guardian angel are more normal and safe though. Oh and fun little story. I was playing a game where we were losing but the enemy team was just so insistent on doing baron that it lost them the game. We had top spawn above baron with flypigmomo as MF and me as GP. That's a fucking lot of distance aoe damage on the baron and they couldn't get it with our ults blowing them up. It's funny, both pirates have an evil little laugh and then boom the nukes start flying. | ||

Also, did you know that you can outrange kog maws ult with his q+e? If you have site (or a good guesser) you can get 3 ridiculously long range shots in before time is up. | ||

Sure, being a support hero can be nice and fun, but Ashe has no way to dish out damage without Volley. Yeah right, the damage scaling on Volley is crap (even if you assume 5 hits, but at least you have 5*AD then). I would keep it at level 1 if it weren't for the cooldown. But turns out that you need it at rank 5 as soon as you hit level 9. At 4 seconds, it is decently spammable. At 2.4 seconds, it almost feels like Hate Spike. On a sidenote, I've been getting Philosopher's Stone more often lately. Almost every game. Works pretty well. Mana for 1 additional Volley every 30 seconds actually ups my damage output quite a bit between level 9 and 18 where I am often OOM. I don't like getting blue buff since I max CDR early anyways, and usually there is an ally who can use it better. I'll gladly take it from an enemy though :p Shurelia's Firecrest (the new item that builds from Philo) doesn't sound like a good idea though. I don't see a place in my build for it. Too expensive early, and too weak late game. | ||

Also I love it when Vlad's think using their pool is a better plan then taking a hit from Q, especially since my q will be off cd before their pool, and I'll be able to give him a nice 600 dmg burst making him have to back or watching him stay and die to my next teleport. I'd also like to add that with kassadin when i grab blue buff i have 2.6 sec cd on my teleport, meaning that NO CARRY IN THE WORLD WILL KILL ME BEFORE I CAN TELEPORT A SECOND TIME. In any realistic situation anyway, fully fed kog will ofc be able to kill the awsomeness that is Kassadin. | ||

We were playing against Morg/Shen/Xin/Trynd(who was building ArP/AS? WTF?)/Akali, and getting absolutely destroyed until I realized that except for Morgana, they all have to be in melee range to do anything...hell even Morgana has to be close for her Ult.
