Except it's not random. With some exceptions, the same people that were high Elo unranked before ranked existed(so when it was for more than getting some practice in on a champ before you queue it in ranked 1700 brackets) are the same people that are rated highly in ranked. That's the comparison he is making, capped unranked = 1700+, and the 1800-1900+ unranked people being the 1500-1700 ranked players. | ||

Worst are Energy/lvl runes which pass flat ones at level 14. Who cares. This excludes Quints, don't have the values as nicely availavle for those. They generally look like they have worse /lvl versions though. | ||

I don't think it's common that you'll have invincible games with any tanks (countless times I've gone in with a stacked Udyr and still died in seconds) but Singed, with his speed boost, his crazy HP regen, and his base high armor/MR (esp. with mr per level runes) is one of the sturdiest and toughest to kill. That's all :p You can play riskier (farm deeper into enemy territory) and get away. | ||

I'm not sure but I don't think I have a ELO in normal and I was pretty high b4 season one. I used to play alot of 3v3 normal b4 ranked came out and we managed to defeat good teams, I remember beating MegaZero team once. Maybe someone can check my profile @ SaiBot and tell me if I have an unranked rating ? | ||

Maybe someone can check my profile @ SaiBot and tell me if I have an unranked rating ? normal ranking was not reset. its just that everyone had their ranked elos "reset" to zero. ie their normal ranking didnt seed them into higher ranked ranking. there was a period of time where you could check your unranked elo by going into your adobe air client logs. but it seems they patched it out | ||

So does it make sense to use his high base tank stats as an excuse to pick up mostly health/mana and AP, like I do, or to bolster those stats with MR/armor items/runes? | ||

They generally look like they have worse /lvl versions though. yea, quints typically catch up in the 9-11 range iirc. flats are typically preferable there because you can get such a considerable bonus out of them by doing that.
