Ye i have flash/ghost yet i fail Anyway ill try to do some dmg with auto attack.Soft them up a littlbit and then E,Q  we shall see thx anywayoh btw i couldnt take it anymore so I went back to nidalee,guess what i raped with 12/0/2...i dont understand hehe | ||

 edit: wow, completely overlooked the fact that his grenade gives armor reduction. Still doesnt change the fact that his scaling sux tho, but basically boost the dmg a bit to armored ppl, so i guess he is better against tanks lategame than panth lol mybe u can add this info to your panth post and compare the hero thats 'supposed' to be terribad late game scaling and panth haha | ||

Look for opponent junglers, help out a 1v2 lane who needs blue pill. Itembuild I use (I bet this could use ALOT of fixing though). Dagger + 1 health pot opening. boots (you should be able to get this, or nearly get this while bluepilling, if you have 330 gold i tend to wait, if i have 300 i tend to buy a potion + 250cost regen item) zeal upgrade boots to merc treads or ninja tabi avarice blade emblem ghostblade starks phantom dancer game usually ends here but GA / Banshee / IE are usually a good idea. Sometimes it will be a good idea to get LW instead of upgrading zeal or emblem if your opponents stack armor. for thornmail, MR and lifesteal is my best advice, though you generally should avoid attacking the thornmail target. For teamfights (cus this is where Yi loses his use undtil lategame) you should use mediditate everytime more than 1 focuses you. and be REALLY selective of when to go in, and be aware that master rightclick isnt you q+r+ghostblade+rightclick their easiest to catch carry! GO! Sorry bro, thats not how it works, often after going in you have to go out of fight and W and then comeback to clean up (this is, if you survived the first phase of the teamfight at all). Another thing, is that you cant be so greedy with red buff. With ezreal being ever so popular nowadays you should save red buff for him (but otherwise red buff should be on you as much as you can, without it you cant chase nearly as good and jungle v jungle fights become a pain). Same thing for blue buff, that you will go oom SO fast if youre in a siege where you would LOOOVE to have it. With it, you can clear their creep waves earlier and harassment problems from a longranged nuke will become irrelevant fast because you can just meditate. Sadly, a Janna / Anivia / Heimer would probally benefit more. But if youre in a phase that you just tend to be on fight in jungle / lane w/e. In any noone drawn out fight even the CDR on the blue buff wont help much at all. To wrap this up I want to emphasis how useless Yi is without mana or red buff. Without it youre just a fragile, easily kited, glasscannon. Now go slaughter me and tell me how bad this build is  | ||

also, other than AP Yi, I don't really see meditate being effective. DPS Yi should typically be able to get better survivability from hitting really fucking hard with lifesteal than he would get from standing there in meditate, at least from my experience. Also, as the tank, you should be making yourself enough of an issue that they have to choose between dealing with you or letting you ruin them. Banshee's helps this by making it harder for them to CC and then ignore you. For instance, Banshee's on Amumu will do wonders vs. shit like Ashe using her ult to fuck with your initiation. I still generally think FoN is a better Negatron upgrade on tanks than Banshee's, but BV has it's place and is pretty much always strong for your survivablity | ||

Heavy magic: Rod/Merc Treads --> Cloak --> Rylais --> Abyssal Scepter --> Zhonyas Heavy dps: Catalyst - Boots - HoG - Rod - Randuins - Rylais People are usually pretty good at giving me solos so I never really worry about going pure tank items since Im outlvling everyone anyways and having the extra lvl in ult makes you that much tankier. Its really up to you what items to go for the situation but I personally love using the first build because I can really get some great magic dmg pumping. | ||

I find that being really annoying and in their face makes them want to hit me anyway even with banshees. Every tank I play I try to be in front of squishies on my team and really freaking annoying with slow/stuns. And I always get banshees. It's just too good of an item to fail to some theory on the other team's mentality. Then again, I like playing cho with 6 stacks. So banshees is about as tall as his waist. | ||

i still think that in most cases, ur gonna want something else more than veil on the tanks. Whenever i see that blue circle, i feel like i should save my cc and whatnot for some1 else and hesitate to blow my spells on them | ||

But it still really depends on the character. If you have a good use for all the stats then Banshees probably is a great choice in almost every case. If you have no use for the Mana then you might want to think twice before getting it. | ||

It's a very enemy-specific item. The point of Veil isn't to BLOCK ALL THE SPELLS! It's to absorb damage/CC and stop combos. If you're a tank out in front of the crowd, Ashe shouldn't be able to initiate with ECA. If you're a tank in the middle of a fight, someone's going to have to blow a spell on you to get rid of Veil. Singed coming for you? Gotta pop Veil first! Annie ults you? Grin and bear it - no combo for her! Ryze tries to nab you out of position? Can't hold you in place until Overload actually makes contact! The other selling point of Veil is that it gives pretty good MR while building out of the best laning item in the game. | ||

But yeah, if you are a threat, which, as a tank, you are supposed to be to an extent. It doesn't matter whether you have a Banshee's, they'll still all kill you. A tank doesn't stop being a target just by being immune to one spell every 30 seconds, it stops being a tank when the opposing team deems it is unnecessary to target the tank. | ||
