Well, even Kass ever becomes FotM I doubt there will be enough good enough at using him to cause that kind of massive whining. At least so I hope, since I actually quite like playing Kass.

Me and my friends came to the consensus that Urgot is alot like Pantheon in he is good early game(i.e can really really fuck you up) but late game his useful level drops quite a bit.

i never paid attention to kass, until i mid laned against him as karthus. i didnt know his best spell is triggered by me spamming lay waste and i got pwnd so hard ! his burst dmg is so insane, i didnt stand a chance.
really need to be more careful which heroes you send laning against him. karthus is probably the worst possible ... ^^

yea, basically this, lol. I dunno, I'm not seriously spiteful enough to try to ruin someone else's fun because they ruined mine (unless you fucking take my jungle after I first picked Amumu with smite).
and even if I were, I play mostly tanks now, so I need people to play good carries with me and Utah on Kass is like, really fucking good, so it's in my best interest to keep Kassadin beastly, lol.
though actually, now that I think about it, Utah and I haven't played in awhile, so maybe I will go on that crusade... :p

idk i just mid for my first time with kass against TF and it was kinda stupid that you dont even need to try to zone people out with kass.
my problem with going mid is that i can do fine in the 1v1 lane, but i dont really have enough game sense to know when to leave the lane/gank and use my level advantage for the team. i just kinda camp there or i get gank happy and let the mid tower fall >_<

i use mp5 yellows and go doran ring into RoA and usually dont have too many mana problems. i pretty much spam Q all game but use R and E sparingly. i think i should get mp5 blues and try to get spammier.

I don't think it's a common occurrence even at "high" elo, considering so far I've only encountered one. The problem is that Lay Waste does a bazillion damage and cools down 9 times faster than your Q, and has similar (if not higher) range. A good Karthus punishes you HARD for trying to Q him, so you'll often end up wasting a lot of time dodging Qs, and of course getting hit hurts. And if you try to restore mana via W on creep he nails you anyways while regaining mana himself.

i use mp5 yellows too, but dont get roa, usually its ring-> mejais -> sorc shoes -> mebbe rylais or something like that, but most games honestly dont last this long
probably its just that i use r too damn much, usually when im trying to kill some1, ill use it like 3 times before they dead
edit: south, u get w during laning phase? i recall from somewhere that you felt it wasnt good enough to justify getting a point in it to delay q and e. Also, i dont seem to have problems spamming q in lane with my mp5 runes once im like lvl 4-5, so i dont see much need for it

please explain, because i find it absolutely impossible eventhough i played it save, but there is no save playing against his blink+silence+slow wave combo, which sadly is available very often (at least every 9 secs without cd red) because of karthus having to spam his shit to farm/harass properly. also kassadin takes 15% less dmg from skills, which makes it even worse. use heal pot after each combo or a 2nd combo combined with incinerate will likely kill you.
i'm used to doing good with karthus, but this was a complete nightmare and i wouldnt like to lane against this guy especially after doing some research and now knowing why it all went down the toilet.

the only thing i could think of that karthus has over kass is that both his wall and lay waste have longer range than kass's q, so i suppose if you were mega pro and could easily hit him like 3 times before he waltzes up to silence you, then karth would wreck kass pretty hard. problem is, i have yet to see a karth that could do this so i dunno for sure

I cant remember where the post was to quote it but Urgot is suffering very much from Pantheon syndrome.
He's fairly strong early but his abilities scale so retardedly in 5 different directions that he really can't be effective at anything. I think the graphic and projectile speed for the noxxion corrosive charge needs to be tweaked.
