Nah, Malz is pretty awesome despite being one of the worst heroes right now. If you manage to face a team with no cleanse you can usually be an asset to your team. That said, it's his free week now and a lot of people are playing him because they must think 6300 = easy win. | ||

Ghost/cleanse or Ghost/clarity 9-0-21 Hmm, viegar does need hp, but my build is Dorans ring./health pot Cup Boots (merc) rylais (good hp, and allows kiting) Zhonyas (good damage and survivability) and then either a warmorgs or that lifesteal book to keep me in fights depending how the game is going, then if the game lasts that long, switch my cup for an Archangels, | ||

with the right team he will be decent, but the problem with veigar is that merc treads owns his stun, his skyfall thingy is unreliable and his ulti is just another 1 target dps ulti in a game where aoe reigns supreme. the only good thing that makes him viable is his stun, and to maximize it you have to run cdr on veigar imo. if you have a decent team setup and you just need that extra aoe disable, he'll be a good choice. also, he isn't a good mid. he'll have a really hard time killing anyone in mid, and he'll have a harder time surviving. summoner spells NEED to be ghost flash, he is so squishy w/o it. edit: after reading through it seems i'm a little too nice lol. veigar is trashy tier because he just isn't the reliable dps spellcaster that you want. he isn't a dominating presence unless he's solo mid, which he'll do bad in, or he gets fed on a side lane (kind of hard as veigar). if he doesn't get fed all you bring veigar for is an ult that hits no mana heroes like a wuss and an aoe stun. i'd rather have annie/fiddles/etc you name it. | ||

Dont need ghost or flash, i play him mid all the time with exhaust and ignight, almost always get a level 6 kill, and if i dont, no sweat, i gain ap from farming, they dont, i come out on top, as does my team. and yea exhaust/ignite really makes you lose credibility, probably the worst combo in the game. I dodge people with exhaust/ignite its that bad. | ||
