FML this matchmaking v-v What's your W/L at? I just came off a particularly bad game with a 0/7 vlad and a crappy WW, but for the most part, games are actually skilled on both sides for me at 27. Maybe it's just the heroes I play making it less painful, though? On August 10 2010 08:06 Juicyfruit wrote: Well...people initiate and focus targets stupidly without taking Taric into account at all, and then bitch when someone they're suppose to kill doesn't die because of stun interruption and heal. Can't deny he's a great champ, but he's got 0 initiation power for a tank. As far as tanking goes, he's only REALLY good at tanking the tower and abusing the enemy team's fail-initiations. Yeah, that's the whole thing I think - Taric is one of those heroes you actually have to play different around instead of facerolling into the nearest player. Teams get punished so bad when they split dps between me and the proper target, especially when I can melee. Even more than against other healers, Split DPS vs Taric is an absolute death sentence. Then add in the bonuses Taric gives an AD based team (30 Armor, 15/30/45 AD) and the tower owning ability and you get a champion that people would rather ban than play against. edit: initiating at their tower and winning the fight is also hilarious

Not a suggestion, more of a question.

One avarice blade is so so so worth it. Even if you don't turn it into a ghostblade it's still worth it. Even if you're going tankplank get an avarice blade! Sorc shoes are for his ult, I'd only get them if you have an amumu on your team and are going tankplank. Otherwise get Merc's treads please. You really shouldn't team fight without your ultimate but that shouldn't be too hard to do. Mid-Late game you should usually only use your ult in team fights anyway. When you shoot of your ultimate you just gotta auto attack/parrrley in the middle of it and they will definitely run/lose if it's a 5v5. I haven't been GP in a while and with ranked I'm only 7/7 on him but I still think he's a great support hero, his ult is one of the best. BTW, Are there only two people in TL who are in the WCG? If so, Gl Neo and redtooth! Kass > Vlad. Hahahah. I was just rethinking my GP build this morning, and came up with: Boots of Speed + one health pot + mana pots Avarice Blade Zeal Ninja Tabi or Mercury's Treads Atma's Impaler Executioner's Calling Infinity Edge Cloak of Agility Youmoo's Ghostblade Phantom Dancer So, we agree on early avarice. I think zeal is pretty solid on GP (movespeed + crit) and isn't super-expensive, but I'm open to being told it's a waste of cash. For boots, I think I agree with you. After that, my goal was to get my crit % up -- hence atma + exec. At that point, putting off IE longer seems bad. The last bit is just edging closer to 100% crit -- the final PD gives you like 95% without runes or elixir. The PD also gives more movespeed/dodge, which don't hurt. Would it be better to run crit chance reds (9%+ crit) and green elixir (15%) as much as possible, and skip the zeal/PD? My plan was to run armor-pen marks with this build (big advantage: unlike crit chance, I actually have them...).

Standard Tankplank boots 1 Avarice blade Mercs treads Sunfire Cape Atma's Impaler Youmoos Ghostblade Sunfire cape/Infinity Edge If it's heavy AP team throw in a banshees after atma's impaler. Although if it's heavy AP team I'd recommend just going Dps instead. So the GP on my team that had 5 avarice blades and a meki pendent wasn't doing it right?

But really, Avarice Blade stacking makes you retarded, it's just not a good item past the first.

I've noticed you seem to feel this way about pretty much every name player (Elementz, HotshotGG, etc.). Is this just because no one's perfect and you play them enough to see their imperfections, or is their a whole set of better players that no one knows in your opinion?
