His lifesteal is pretty meh until he gets some serious AP, I think his lane phase is extremely overrated vs any competent harass champ because he starts to have very tough decisions to make on skills vs health.

For whatever reason I've never seen HSGG and Elementz have a good game around me. Players whose skill I respect are such as Kodoku, Aruss, Asier, bigfat's group, grandjudge, taburiss x2, etc. and a grudging recognition of Regi as being capable of having great games (as well as having complete and utter shit ones). These are players whom I'm aware can be super dangerous or are consistently good and thus I can never sleep on them (or I feel very comfortable when they're on my team). Players like HSGG, Elementz, and to an extent Dan Dinh are big-name players who're terribly inconsistent from my experience or habitually make bizarre inexplicable decisions and thus, personally, feel overrated. In the case of HSGG he's the best Nidalee (I hear) except my hero messes with Nidalee so I don't really feel it, so it's an admittedly unfair impression.

Master of LoL's on a different level though. I liken him to to the heejongshin 1hit1der level, they're good, but they feel a step "below" the names we're bringing up here. Supposedly HJS's Janna is great, but not only have I not seen it in a long time (~2 months?) he makes decisions that would make finkill look like a genius.

Edit:
Bear in mind, overrate/underrate etc. is relative. HSGG and Elementz and DD are HUGE name players - HSGG is like the flagship player of clgaming. For someone of that stature I don't feel like he plays up to that level, unfair expectations or not.

For some reason (that I'm not aware of), Master of LoL has name value. Maybe he was big before my time. But aside from his Shaco (except you can say that for a lot of people) I never feel any pressure from him.

Just had the first really frustrating Kayle game in a while. Our bad mid Karthus and bad bottom lane (Sivir+Garen) managed to feed an Ashe and Trist combo hard in the first 10 minutes or so. That lead to my team randomly engaging in 3v5 and 4v5 teammates, feeding up their Annie, Vlad, and mummy. When I'm getting thornmail and a negatron on Kayle, you know things have gone awry.

Edit: just out of curiosity, how the hell does Karthus go 0-3 against Ashe in 10 minutes? Do you, say, wander around trying to defile her (that sounds wrong) while she kites you, then think "Aha! I have a third of my health and Ashe has no stuns or slows, so I can farm with impunity!"? I cannot think of any other way to lose this matchup.

I have a question i've been thinking about for a while now and that what to do after you fed. Let's face it, as good as we all are everybody feeds, hell, the game is all about feeding. My question is how to minimize the damage, and how I should go about playing if I'm unavoidably 0-2. From there I find that games can spiral out of control. I'm sure this is the nature of the game, but I find targeting the feeder to be especially good, as the feeder becomes so useless. So I want to know what adjustments you guys make when you're doing badly. One thing I like to do is buy lots of dorans items, that or buy a stacking item and pray for kills.

I'd say snowball items are the opposite of what you should do. What I do is farm and avoid teamfights and just try to play as cautious as possible until I've farmed up a bit.

When you're ahead, you can usually just push/teamfight and end the game. When you're behind, you have to play smarter. A few things (which I'm sure WRA will pick over, but fuck him):

1) Counterpush/backdoor. If you have the right heros/summoner spells for this, you can grab towers you don't really deserve, giving you additional map control and free xp/cash for your team.

2) FARM! Your team should be trying to farm all three lanes and both jungles, while keeping track of where the other team is and avoiding them. This is basically the only way to launch a true comeback. This includes grabbing buffs/dragon. How do you do all that?

3) WARDS! This is key. If you're not going to win teamfights, you can't get into them -- and you especially can't get caught out 2v4 or whatever. NEVER leave base with over 90 cash. This not only keeps you safe, it can let you make the type of plays (surprise gank at dragon, stealing buffs, stealing baron) that can turn games around.

To add to that, it also depends on when your hero is strongest. Late game? Try to get your team to defend while you farm. Early? (why did you feed) defend for your carry to farm. Mid pusher? Distract while your carry farms (but only when you know you can escape - see WARDS! above).
