In team fights I basically wait for it to start, wait a second or two then throw a Q, E in and R. After that EQ is usually off cooldown again so I'll throw another one of each if needed.

Any tips or suggestions for the way I play her?

Were you the one I played with? Exhaust/Ignite was definitely very weird for Taric. Yeah it'll get you kills against the low level people, but eventually you'll have to play to Taric's strengths to get the best out of him, so Clarity will help a ton. Clarity/Ghost like the others said would be much better imo.

It may be a bit against the grain, but I feel very confident with my build. When I asked for comments, I meant fine-tuning.. not 'PLAY A TANK. DO IT. DO IT.' Aura-whore Taric works. Soul Shroud + Aegis, Shatter, Radiance (plus his stun and heals) makes team fights hilariously tilted in our favor.

If you think I'm a loon, I beckon you to try the progression: Soul Shroud, Boots of Swiftness, Nashor's Tooth, Aegis. The CD reduction, mana regen and attack speed makes him a killer in disguise. It literally always work if I'm laning with a dps that has some sort of disable.

All good Nids run AP these days. It's something like:
Doran's Ring
Sheen + boots
merc treads
Gunisoo's Rageblade
Lich Bane

EDIT: as I think about it though, I'm not even sure they get Sheen before rageblade nowadays. rageblade is really dumb.

Will we see our opponents during champion select?

While you will be able to view those champions drafted by your opponents during Champion Select, their summoner names will be anonymous during this time.
