why is it that literally 100% of the time i play pub my team is just filled with the most massive retards every single time at least 3 of the 5 are INCREDIBLY bad it's just not fun at all, i literally always lose when i pub and always win when i premade i mean, how am i supposed to get a high elo anyways when my team is soooo bad we have no chance every single time. and i know it's not me lol i do awesome in premades its just impossible to do anything when the other team sticks together and my team runs away with full life, doesnt help with anything, goes off alone to die, etc etc in my last game 2 of our players literally chased a low hp champion past 3 of their turrets and into their base, they had the same speed.. they couldn't catch him.. they died in the opponents base | ||

Or your teams are just like most of mine are and you have to imbacarry with Tryndamere to win. Nowadays I only get awful teams about half the time and decent ones about half the time though, so if you carry some of the awful teams your W/L should be positive. EDIT: Rofl hotshotgg getting owned by a panth who has a 21min max occult | ||

I really don't feel like playing in fear I might smash my keyboard in frustration lol. | ||

My first 6300 IP champion. I decided to try out AP Kog'maw and Hybrid- practice games only so far, just to get a feel for him- and I'm utterly unimpressed with the hybrid build. The benefits of an AP build, compared to a hybrid build: + Show Spoiler + - Survivability: RoA gives you HP, Rylai's gives you HP and a snare, Zhonya's gives you a great clicky; you won't have all of those, but even one of them will give you a significant survivability boost compared to Hybrid which has basically nothing. - AP: This is pretty obvious. Expect your Caustic Spittle, Void Ooze and Living Artillery to deal more damage than they would with a Hybrid build. - More mana: Expect to have more max mana and possibly mana regen (Archangel's) than a Hybrid build. This is all pretty standard and expected. Now, what do you usually expect from focusing more on your autoattack: + Show Spoiler + - Better efficacy vs. Minions: Whether you're going for AD, AS and crit or Mandred's + AS, you'll be able to deal easily with the Golem and Lizard buff minions, Dragon, and help out with Baron. AD will also deal very effectively with minion waves. - Lower mana expenditure: If you rely more on your autoattack, you shouldn't need to rely on your spells as much. - Better sustained DPS: Since your autoattack never runs out, you're not as hindered by ability cooldown restrictions. So far, so good. Except you don't really get the expected benefits. Bio-arcane barrage doesn't help out all that much when you're soloing the golem buff or killing Dragon, because the 6% of max HP damage bonus is capped at a disappointingly low number (100) vs. minions. Not only that, but you can at most keep the buff up half the time- and most of your hybrid items will be completely useless when dealing with large minion waves. But hey, you're hybrid, right? You still have your caster half, and it's not like hybrid Kog'maw will have trouble dealing with minion waves, right? While this is true, your diminished mana pool and mana regen and lower AP score mean you're not too hot as a caster- you run out of steam quickly. Not against minions certainly, but you can't afford to go back to your spawning pool every two minutes and having low mana means you won't be very effective at harassing enemy champions at standoffs- something AP Kog'maw excels at. In team fights, your spells will be weaker, but your autoattack will be more relevant for 6 seconds. Even here, it seems pretty underwhelming, though. It's best against High HP, low MRes targets, and you're comparably really ineffective when targetting squishies- other ranged DPS champions like Ashe, Tristana or Corki will hit a lot harder against most targets, AND they have battlefield control abilities- a stun and amazing snare in one case, free blinks in the other two. You'll still rely heavily on your spells for damage, but you'll run oom that much quicker; your sustained DPS will actually be worse than that of AP Kog'maw because after your first 6 seconds of glory, Bio-Arcane Barrage is on cooldown and all you have is the rest of your spell repertoire, but with less AP and a tiny mana pool you're not going to make a very good use of it. Kog'maw's spells are so good that you'll want to use them very often even if you're Hybrid, so your mana expenditure won't be that much lower. So, yeah. A lot of disadvantages, in exchange for being more effective against high HP, low MRes champions for 6 seconds sounds like a really shitty deal to me. Am I right in thinking that AP Kog'maw >> Hybrid Kog'maw, or am I missing something? | ||

Solo queue has made me expect to lose, ive forgotten what its like to win. (except last night when a mord/karthus duo carried us to victory lol) Those games are quite rare. No idea how the opponents team always seems to be more competent. One would assume they would be in the same boat. | ||

Open up with me (Shen) taking the top lane, Heim mid, Ali and Morgana bot, and Udyr jungling. Our Udyr is killed twice - TWICE - by jungle creeps before he hits lvl 3. I'm having a rough time against Kayle and Akali so I drop a second point into feint to hold on. The game is looking pretty bad up until bot lane gets a few kills and pushes their tower down. We then snowball out of control. Ali does an AP build and starts to roam - goes 10-0-5. Thanks to our extra tanking power and a few sweet ults on my part, we never concede a kill (besides the few neutral deaths from Udyr) until like 30 minutes in when we're all 4-5 levels above their team and start screwing around. Get to the match results - they're all in the mid 20's and my team's all teens except for me at 20. | ||
