They actually have like, a point value rating system, did they have a panel of voters that rated champs 1-10? Anyhow, it looks like they're somewhere between poke comps and tank/aoe comps with that jumbled mass of champs in t2, and Ashe/Janna as the #1/2 champs in the game.

It seems like basically every jungler is shifted downward relative to where US opinions would place them. Either EU players wildly undervalue jungle control, or they just don't see "jungler" as a core role and therefore don't think the best junglers should be placed extremely highly.

Me and a couple friends are looking for ways to improve our game play and have decided to run a few drills to practice common mechanics in a real(ish) scenario. So I would like ideas on ways you can practice different aspects of the game, such as last hitting zoning minimap awareness etc. So far I had this idea for a drill to practice last hitting while being harassed which goes as follows: - One player must last hit a minimum of 4 minions per wave, while taking as little damage as possible from his opponent and not pushing the lane - The opposing player's job is to try and prevent the player from last hitting minions by harassing him almost exclusively (i.e. he can ignore last hits for the most part as he is not the one being "drilled") The point of the exercise is to teach you how to deal with pressure in a lane without hindering your ability to farm significantly. Another drill I've been pondering is one to help with minimap awareness, which would look something like this: You're in a lane, you must maintain a creep score higher then 1 for every 10 seconds that has passed (averages to 3 last hits per wave). Enemy champions from other lanes will periodically disappear and you must announce when you see them mia and where you think they might be - the same being done when they return. For example, you might say "mid miss, going top" and you will be timed each time a champion disappears to see how long it takes for you to realize it. The purpose of this is to give you something you would normally be focusing on (like laning) and still being aware of what is going on around the map. Normally, your teammates should be announcing these things as well but the drill will get you into the habit of looking at your minimap anyways. If anyone has any suggestions for things we can do or tweaks to these I would appreciate it. Your first drill has a potential flaw. If the harasser does not attack his creeps at all you will push the lane even if you're a perfect last hitter. As such, you'll want to have a harasser like Galio or Sona who, by virtue of harassing, pushes the lane somewhat. The second drill seems like a good idea, but you'll need to arrange carefully for enemy champion visibility. In real games champions are constantly darting in and out of sight, which makes calling MIAs tricky. If you're specifically trying to train minimap awareness it's not necessary to simulate that, so try to keep the champions visible at all times except those you specifically want them to disappear. Another skill you could develop is tracking the enemy jungler. At lot of advanced players do this via the score screen and their creep score. You could do a test where a player pushes their lane hard while tracking an enemy jungler. Most junglers will exit the jungle after clearing their side (15 cs), or after doing a second clear (24 cs).

Guy on second page says he doesn't understand why alistar is tier 5, and claims he belongs with the best tanks in the game. Also wants Rammus higher than tier 3. 3rd page guy, claims that its better than Elementz' tier list. Most people seem to like this one a lot. Now that I'm here anyways, why is fiddle generally considered so bad? He's a fine jungler, and AFAIK, drain is getting a shorter CD next patch. Also he has much silence, a long 1 target disable, and with zhonyas, CAW CAW CAW CAW is a pain. Same thing with Kayle. She's my main, and everytime i meet people, they're like "kayle is godlike does sick dmg" and when i see tierlists, they put her really low. How come? I don't have problems farming up a GRB and a malady or w/e I'm getting.

He has to drain the creep, if you walk up to him his only option is basically fear you and abandon the camp. I think he's actually better as a sidelane champ right now. Kayle can output some good dps, but at only moderate range(and not 100% uptime) and is actually rather weak as a 1v1 laner. Sure she can be hard to push out of the lane with her heal, but you can disrupt her farm(force her to only last hit with E) and her 'escape' is also her utility that should separate her from other carries(cleanse+ult+run, but then you can't ult a teammate).

If you're clever, you can bypass this, but if the enemy jungler decides that he wants to fuck you up, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Also his pre lvl 6 ganks are not as strong as some others. as far as kayle, i think most ppl agree that she is certainly strong, but has enough prerequisites to be on your team that she's just not a top pick. also she's not quite as strong as a dedicated ranged dps, and doesnt support quite as well as a straight up support champ, and so kayle has to be built around, instead of building around someone else. at least, thats how i see it edit: wow, so slow, 2 ppl already beat me to it

As far as the second drill goes you are correct, it would be run with like a couple champions just standing in their lanes and running away randomly (or even just standing in the grass for a while). Lastly, I like your suggestion, as it will help people learn when to expect a potential gank and when dragon can feasibly be done (therefore, when to place the ward down for optimal coverage)
