So far I had this idea for a drill to practice last hitting while being harassed which goes as follows: - One player must last hit a minimum of 4 minions per wave, while taking as little damage as possible from his opponent and not pushing the lane - The opposing player's job is to try and prevent the player from last hitting minions by harassing him almost exclusively (i.e. he can ignore last hits for the most part as he is not the one being "drilled") The point of the exercise is to teach you how to deal with pressure in a lane without hindering your ability to farm significantly. Another drill I've been pondering is one to help with minimap awareness, which would look something like this: You're in a lane, you must maintain a creep score higher then 1 for every 10 seconds that has passed (averages to 3 last hits per wave). Enemy champions from other lanes will periodically disappear and you must announce when you see them mia and where you think they might be - the same being done when they return. For example, you might say "mid miss, going top" and you will be timed each time a champion disappears to see how long it takes for you to realize it. The purpose of this is to give you something you would normally be focusing on (like laning) and still being aware of what is going on around the map. Normally, your teammates should be announcing these things as well but the drill will get you into the habit of looking at your minimap anyways. If anyone has any suggestions for things we can do or tweaks to these I would appreciate it. | ||
