I think people don't tend to really think about their masteries, they just go with what "seems" right. Hotshot takes Dodge/Nimbleness on every champion instead of SoS, even though most of the time he's not going to have any other Dodge. | ||

So nimbleness is somewhat rectified there. I'm gonna be honest: Dodge seals + Nimbleness just flat out works better on most champs. Obviously there are some that straight up require different seals, but even playing as...I dunno, Ryze or something, being able to dodge a minion hit and get the extra boost to prison the fleeing enemy happens more often than you'd think. | ||

Except that at the higher levels more lane staying is usually better than a chance to get a lucky kill as your enemies won't overextend that much. | ||

Usual lane build is Dring, boots, sapphire crystal, boots 2/3 / sheen, lich bane, necessary tank items if needed. For jungle I open with vamp scepter and try to go AD. Wriggles/Zerk Boots/Trinity Force. Should I be getting more AP in my laning build? Btw, MS Quints = shield chasing/harassing all day | ||

Hahah, I was talking about this to red, I think you really have to ditch the fear of looking silly because you'll have bad games. Whenever I'm against "big names" I get fired up and usually play significantly better than when I'm not, and I always enter the lane believing I'll win, because I'm the better player. More often than not I do, but there're games I don't, and there're games I fail catastrophically. It'll happen, though, and you just have to suck it up and keep chugging along ;p I deffo suck at 1v1 games, though, LOL. The pressure  | ||

Game 1: Two people both try to solomid. Shaco jungles, fails first gank and quits. Game 2: Have a mordekaiser who goes 0/10/0 in 18 minutes. Starts game with no items. Game 3: I have to go afk briefly. Ask warwick to cover my lane. I come back 2 minutes later to find both towers in my lane dead. Europe is fucking shit. | ||
