Same thing with MF, and it can help you to set up your ult too. I found 2 things when I ran cleanse:

1) I didn't get stunned enough to justify using it. I didn't allow myself to be ganked or put myself in a compromising position.

2) If I did get stunned, Cleanse would not have saved me. Stuns are usually followed up by snares from red buffed carries, which means you can't run anyway.

Cleanse used to be overpowered as hell and a super crutch. Now that it's balanced, it's clear that Flash has become even more predominant, it's probably next on the chopping block.
