i always liked the amount of stuff you could do with supply crawlers in alpha, so kind of excited for that. the other stuff doesn't sound so hot though, adding tourism and these archeologists make it seem like there is going to be so many things cluttered around that don't really add much. similar to how i feel about spies atm, religion was implemented well but spies are pretty lackluster imo | ||

You'll open up a trade menu where you assign trade routes to your various merchants. I suspect that "trade rights" will probably be a new thing that you can negotiate with foreign leaders as well. | ||

However, I suspect religion will play a heavy role in tourism as well (think about the hajj in real life). One awkward thing is that it seems that there will be a lot more trading going on and gold will be more scarce. I wonder if waging wars will be as practical as it is now on GaK. | ||
