I am probably missing something do Mana regen runes work with the ninjas too? I thought Riot said they had plans to have energy runes sometime in the future.

no, it's just that whenever Turkey or Southlight forget to update their rune page with something useful for shen in place of their mana regen runes, they do better than when they have the "better" rune page for him. lol

funny thing is we almost always win when we use mana regen runes on shen, even though they have no effect

and yea i heard about energy runes but now i cant find them so im not sure if they got scrapped

they haven't patched yet and I think they've been scrapped cause there's no talk of them in the TR Forums. They really make things difficult, so I think scrapping them was a good idea if indeed that's what they've done.

All putting energy runes would do is make energy runes a necessity for playing the ninjas and force them to nerf the skills as per energy. It's counterintuitive.

I saw a jungle conversation a while back and I wanted to put my 2 cents in, now that I'm having a great time playing warwick--you don't actually want to put 21 into any tree with a jungler. I run 12/0/18 on war for the utility tree's buff mastery/exp bonus and offensive's magic pen/smite/damage to minions and armor pen. It makes jungling go a lot faster because you level way quicker, and when I gank well sometimes I'll be like 4-0 with a cloth armor and a mana potion 10 minutes into the game holding like 3.5k gold. I'm assuming the same would work well on Shen because what exactly does 15% summoner skill cooldown do for him? He doesn't really need it.

Personally I'm a fan of 9/0/21 on jungle (or 0/9/21) because smite and ghost on reduced cd is nice, but that's just my preference.

wait... why 12? seems to me that 11/0/19 makes sense and 15/0/15 makes sense, but 12/0/18 just doesn't add up for me...

like, if you do 11/0/19, you only get 1 in armor pen, but you still get the max CDR from utility, but if you don't care about the CDR, then wouldn't it just make more sense to keep going in the offensive tree rather than investing beyond movespeed in utility? I dunno, am I missing something about what 12/0/18 lets you do?

You're right, I actually made a mistake mass typing before I went to work, I run 11/0/19 for 3 in CD and movespeed at the top of utility and 2 above magic pen in offense in sunder. 15/0/15 sounds interesting too, I might have to try that out.

Actually it wasn't the whiffing that got me cuz every ashe misses arrows (well, almost), it's that every time it was up it was being shot randomly just because "the cooldown is so low"
