I hate doing this, but +1, seriously. Ugh.

if you really have to play shaco, you must do the following build:
Long Sword or Fort Potion (get first blood, if you fail this gank, you might as well just leave the game) Madred's Razor (kill dragon) Boots1 Bloodrazor (kill baron) Boots of Mobility Bloodthirster (backdoor) Guardian Angel
you better be a fucking champ at backdooring though. You have to be able to outrace the other team's 5v4 pushing speed by yourself with no creeps.

What do you guys suggest for runes/item build ? (so far I use full AP glyphs, flat hp zeals, flat hp quints, attack damage runes) so far I open with golem kill with AP tome and HP potion. then I go for philophosers stone -> sheen -> boots1 -> mejai -> sorc boots -> lich bane -> abyssal's -> zhonya's. skills i go WQEEEREQEWRWWWQRQQ
grab deathfire too for extra nuke damage and lower CD, you dont need philo, just get some mana regen per level runes

i begin to hate ashe ... she is just so slow and so less hp :<

Ashe is a broken whore beast who ruins everyone's fun, including her own. She sucks and is unfun in every imaginable way. RAGERAGERAGE!
Ok, so seriously, she's like, pretty good, but not broken, I just fucking hate picking Pantheon and seeing an Ashe on the other team because I know it means that I'll never be able to burst a squishy in the late game through her motherfucking volley spam.
|
I always like playing Ashe. I get frustrated sometimes because I feel she just doesn't have any real killing or staying power whatsoever. I haven't played since her changes but I can't imagine she's much better.
|
her strength is not in actual fighting, but rather in skewing the terms of initiating in your teams favor by slowing/stunning the other team. there's a really old conversation in the thread about it, but basically the tl;dr on it is that to understand why Ashe is good, you need to realize that she's not exactly a carry because her base stats aren't comparable and she lacks a steroid skills to supplement her sustained damage output.
edit: also, she hasn't been changed yet.

eh slight buff with the ghostblade i guess and major Q_Q with the new champions that are available for shutting you down in mid, or at least i'd imagine so.
|
wow morde is fun XD. 0 clue how to build him though i just stack 3 regrowths throw in some sorc boots then do whatever
|
well, they're giving her an active piece of plentiful bounty, where you send a bird off to scout for you in the next patch so I assume that's what he was talking about. They're also knocking down the volley shots by 2, having frost arrow's slow scale differently (15/20/25/30/35 instead of 10/17/24/31/38), and reducing the stun duration scaling based on distance from her ult (so that it stuns for the same at point blank, but you have to shoot from further to get the max stun).
I think the end result is a pretty nice buff, but I guess we need to see how 7 arrow volleys work compared to 9 arrow volleys.
|
I figure that since, in a team fight, if you slow one person down, you might as well have slowed their entire team because they would fall out of position otherwise. Therefore, volley is hardly nerfed at all, imo, since from the start you only needed to hit 1 or 2 members that stuck out the front (i.e. tanks), and if the tanks are slowed, they cannot initate.
|
yea, again, I think the net result is a good buff, since you typically don't shoot arrow from that far anyway and the slow is more or less the same, but the volley ramifications are trickier because it could hurt her ability to farm or harass through sparse creeps.

I wish there was a better counter to thornmail for physical dpsers other than a ridiculous amount of life leech. It's dumb you need 2 good life leech items to counter a single 2000 gold item that also give a lot of armor :\

get a bloodthirster.
3200 gold, also gives you 100 AD.
oh yea, and when you're not attacking them, you get insane life steal.

u can just generally avoid the person with the thornmails O_o
|
Bloodthirster caps out at 25% life steal, which is less than the 30% damage returned. With some average MR, you probably break even, but that is assuming its fully charged up, which often isn't the case.
Throw in the fact that you likely took some damage before you started focusing their thornmail tank, and that this tank has significantly more HP than you, and you are likely in a world of pain if you dont have another source of life leech, or a big MR item.
|
well you should farm faster than tanks then!
|
mord farms like a beast :<
+ the whole 1200+++ gold discrepancy between thornmail and bloodthirster + another item
