Bah, that was just a horrbile performance by me, I shouldn't play a champion as difficult as Cho'Gath yet in a relatively high ELO game like that. I'll stick with less complex champs when playing with the big boys for the time being. Ofc, our Akali fed, but I didn't exactly do great either.
Any constructive criticisms, except to be more wary of mia's, and to play more defensive when it's getting dangerous to farm away from the turret?
The point is, I'm used to being able to get away as Cho'Gath because of his beefiness, but then I'd probably be better farmed too, and up against less harsh opposition in a lane.
Much to learn I still have.

It's hard to argue it was your finest hour at 0/8/4. If I hadn't been paired with that terrible Akali in lane, and had been able to farm normally, I still think 5HIT and I could've carried. But 'twas not to be.

Cho is a hard champion to learn, seriously. I didn't really know because I picked him up after like 3 games and never looked back but somewhere after like 200 wins I started playing tristana and i was like WTF THIS GAME IS SO EZ.
But yeah, for Cho, being a side lane is hard. Try grabbing mid in solo queue, most people are pretty receptive if you're nice about it. I actually wrote a pretty detailed guide to how I play Cho at middle ELO. It's changing with the new meta, but it still works as long as I'm not up against that exact Nid/WW/Soraka/Ez/Shen team.

"All penetration is now percentage based and stacks with diminishing returns up to 50%." It's the second half that has me interested/worried... First, Armor Pen runes will probably be less useful now, as will any cheap armpen. It seems like Last Whisper will be the -armor item. Don't know how this will affect stacking armor... On one hand, it'll be easier to take down people with huge armor. Stacking health may be the only way to tank now, but presumably Last Whisper won't ignore 40% reduction. Hmm...
Also, totally going to play the new guy.

lol I knew there was something wrong with Ashe's slow arrow and ECA. Those things slowed/stunned ridiculously long sometime even when Ashe was 1 wall across from me.

Ashe lost her crit passive for the TF like passive right? Anyone w/ Test Realm abilities tell me how far Hawk can go cause if its global its like clairvoyance but if its short range I dont see it being too useful except in the jungle. Rammus and Teemo buff eh? Tyrandamere can now live when CCed =/

That's a lot of critical changes. Maybe I'll finally see some Eves again in games; I swear I haven't seen her more than 5 times since my 100th win.

Janna nerf does absolutely nothing to the fundamental "problem" (or perk, depending on how you look at it) that encompasses Janna.
That is, her map control and fight control is unparalleled in the game, right now. Nerfing the damage output of Eye of the Storm is laughable and does nothing except nerf a couple lane combos (mainly Janna Jax and Janna Pantheon). Until they un-buff the damage bonus on Gale and/or give it a minimum cast time she'll be the same.

I get what you're saying, I had a similar experience when I started playing Nasus after only a couple dozen games with our favorite voidborn monstrosity. I was amazed at how easy tanking can be, just run into the fray, and start hurting everyone with Fury of the sands, Spirit Fire, whilst screwing their carry or a runner over with Wither.
Regarding getting a sideline, it was against and with some horrible players, but Soraka kept me in-lane long enough to farm up both my boots and RoA, so it's not all bad.
