I *assumed* it was because I was playing jungle-Fiddle, which I'm still learning and is harder to organize. Maybe I'm just playing better players? | ||

I know, it's a pretty bad plan. But I think it'll be fun. That said, I'm looking for ideas on how to make it work as much as possible. Here's what I have so far: -Since AP Sivir isn't going to win teamfights on her own, I need to hybrid with support. -Since this build will be all about boomerangs, I need -CD. -Clarity seems like a good summoner spell. It's team-oriented (support-y), and helps keep boomerang blade available. It also means I don't need chalice or MP5 runes. -Standard caster masteries (9/0/21) seem appropriate. -Items: GRB seems good. Spirit Shroud and Frozen Heart give both support and -CD, two things I know I'll need. Rylai's will make my boomerang slow people, which is nice. Zhonya's is always good on AP builds. Aegis combines nicely with Sivir's ult for pushing with creeps, plus is great support. Any other ideas? I figure that this build will farm almost as well as standard Sivir (more boomerang damage, less ricochet, but GRB helps with that), so I should have plenty of cash to play with. So I need another summoner spell (I'm thinking ghost or flash, since I almost always pack one of them), some logic as to what items to get in what order, and any other ideas people have. | ||

In the last game, TakashiX played an AP Ezreal with his items being RoA, merc treads, Lich Bane, and a ton of red/blue elixirs. Phreak's commentary was terrible, and Riot's prep was poor -- it was all streamed by Phreak streaming his view of one of the player's streams while commenting. Still, fun to watch overall. | ||

Alright I've been playing with AP Sivir a lot recently just because it is SO fun. I wouldn't really recommend it, but it is unbelievably enjoyable to hit 800 damage with your boomerang. I bring Flash and Ignite, for some boomerang shots into flash + ignite for unexpected kills for the early game. As you said, CD reduction is key. Nashor's Tooth is just an awesome item for AP Sivir. It gives Mana regen, CD- %25, attack speed an AP. It's just great. Magic penetration boots for sure. Then I get Meijas because as AP Sivir you're really just hanging back throwing boomerang and with spell shield and flash you're really hard to kill so you'll keep those stacks. After that I get Void Staff for the 40% magic penetration, which is good because you want your boomerang to do the most damage possible. Then Rylais and finally Zhonya's if the game goes that far. You just gotta make the first boomerang count, get all the spell shields and use your ult effectively. Everybody hates her though and if you even mess up once your team will jump on your ass so hard and belittle you. I've only been AP Sivir in Solo queue though. Oh and Clarity is also a good option, I would recommend it instead of Ignite if I weren't so addicted to trying to flash + ignite. I have real problems in keeping mana up there since you're spamming the boomerang so much. BTW, I just got paired up with Brees in solo queue (I guess on his alt) and he just fed once then stayed at base for the rest of the game and all he did was talk trash and belittle us and the other team. A guy on the other team had just played with him last game and he said he did the same thing. There was also another guy from TL who I randomly got paired with there too. It was really sad actually. Your items are basically standard nuker items, with Nashor's for a little bit of DPS-hybrid. I bet it's pretty effective for ganks and chasing, but once teamfights show up, aren't you just a (really, really) bad Annie/Ryze/Fiddle/etc.? I was thinking the support items might actually make it possible to both play AP Sivir and, y'know, win. | ||

Just in case, if your LoL startup screen directs you to lol-europe.com. you have the european client. and if it directs you to leagueoflegends.com. you have the American client. The latter I'd recommend getting anyways. | ||
