Also, laggy servers on versus mode makes for sad games  For those having troubles with ending up in laggy servers (this only works in the pc version)- Try having the lobby leader set the max ping for the server search in console. I believe the command in L4D was mm_dedicated_search_maxping <value> where value was the desired latency. By default it was at 250. It may have changed in L4D2 (currently at work so I cannot verify if this still works). But if it does work, it makes a world of difference. | ||

However, it took a whole year and a sequel for it to get this low. I wouldn't keep my hopes up that they'll put a sale on the sequel. | ||
