Is there a way to find out what quest people are on before jumping into their game? I don't want to do the entire quest line up untill my quest and people start to quit -_-.

If you're playing a cannon engi just max str. I'm in act 3 elite atm and I've facerolled everything up to now bar luminous arena (which is total bullshit btw).

just out of curosity, once someone finishes the game, can they go through the game with the same character that they went through with it before? like If I were to finish the game at level 60, could I go through it again?

I've read, you can queue a "new game" with upped levels after you finish it.

Well ideally you should be beating the campaign around lvl 50. Then, when you turn in the final quest, it will ask you if you want to go New Game +, which is you keeping all your stats/items, and starting the game over at lvl50 with enemies scaling to your level. OR they give you the option to play random maps, which will scale to your level as well, although not sure on all the details if you go that route. But you can only chose one. GG GL

just went to NG+ myself.

maps work like this: there are different tiers of map levels, i think the first one is like 45-55, then 56-65 etc etc. they do the same thing as path of exile (+/- effects for player/monsters, some have +% MF/GF etc). there are a wide variety of different map areas as well, i never saw the same one twice and i did quite a lot (lvl'd from 51-61 doing maps)

you can start NG+ @ lv 51

nah, when you go to NG+ you can still access the map place via portal without progressing to broken mines

This game looks fun.

Is there any PvPing going on?

I don't care if it is competitive or not (ladders and stuff). Just basic dueling and or some battlegrounds would do fine.

there is pvp in the game, typing /pvp will flag your character. there are games (like in d2) listed on the internet with "duels, pvp etc etc" where you can pvp if you wish.

I can’t say i like this game a lot, but it feels a lot less grindy then D3 for example, maps got more stuff to explore, and there are chests , some unique monsters, etc.. I liked the skill system, the bad thing is that you can only reset last 3 skills you put, but i guess that’s also make you care a lot more about character, customization is on top. IN d3 let’s say with my level 10 paragon monk even having some legendary items, i feel like my character is kinda soulless, and the word is empty and more predictable, but then again, I played around 150 hours in D3, and only around 15 in TL2.

I'm playing tank engi, but only in act 2 so far on Veteran. My damage is the first skill (shield bash or something) that stuns, knocks back and deals damage based on your shields armor. Also I dump some points into the passive that gives your weapon +damage from your shields armor. Rest I've gone pure tank. Some bosses take a while to kill, but overall I have enough damage, especially when I transform my pet.

so i have a few questions regarding embermage especially. 1. the brand only proc with weapon dmg right? (so lets say you freeze a target using cold spells you will have to hit using a weapon dps to actually do the additional dmg?) 2. what affects skill damage? (well i know the higher the skill lvl the more dmg usually and the higher your lvl, but does +elemental dmg, +% elemental dmg affect the skill dmg that doesnt have %weapon dmg on their description?)

Anyone else have any thoughts on the Bezerker as well? Anyone play through it? anyone having trouble or a hard time on him, I've heard that he is pretty rough to play so far

berseker is very gear depent , if u get good weapons/claws early on u rock man, i died so far 20 times and im at lvl 33 playin on veteran, it is hard , but im havin a blast playin this class, and if u are fully charged u are in rambo mode :D

btw i kill bosses very easy and fast(raze+fully charged), i just have hard time vs mage and range mobs T.T

and get 1 point to savage rush, this spell rox, u transform to a wolf and u can just run through maps ^^

I'm playing Berserker right now, and yes it's pretty hard. The problem he has is that he is not tanky and you will get overrun very easily, to avoid this you should take the first skill of the shadow skill tree and you should be fine.
He has a really fast paced gameplay and it's really fun imho ^^ .

edit: If you dont want to spend a skill point on that skill you could just buy a lot of potions instead.

1. no the brand procs when you hit anything that has the specific debuff on it, that's why Prismatic Bolts + maxed Brands are so over powered, you're almost always guaranteed to do bonus damage

2. +ele or +%ele dmg affects skills (or weapon) of that element, ie: if you have +35% fire damage, you're Fire Brand will do 35% more damage (this is why I can't replace my low level rings that have a ton of +elemental damage...)
