When we played online we seem to have connection issues all the time and endless loading screens, if you two live together you should play on LAN. Other than that its just amazing

There's so many ways to play engi.

If you're soloing you can do 2h, cannon, or shield. Skills are pretty much all good, personally I'm really liking the aegis.

Dex doesn't seem necessary. It helps to put maybe 10-15 points into it just to reduce your fumble, but if you're making bots or have allies it doesn't do that much.

There's no reason to, unless you really want to. The story is rather generic and bland. The skill system is fairly different as well. If you want to play the original just because it's a good game, absolutely. But there's no reason to play it first, unless you simply want to. It won't give you anything worthwhile for going into the second in terms of knowledge.

I went back Act2 to get that robot part and saw that luck enchanter again. Somehow i think these enchanter's ability is fixes or i am just lucky to get the same enchanter. Got some nice exp+ and mf <3

now i do have a bit of a problem with the difficulty settings. i want to farm loot, and if the same shit drops in all difficulties, why would i farm maps on higher difficulty if i'm trying to min/max my time?

+3m range to ranged weapons? I feel like that shouldn't be able to roll on melee weapons. Although I suppose you could do some obscure dual wield build where you use that claw and a wand/pistol ^_^

what for the people playing tank engineers, what attacks are you using or attacks you intend to use? im still deciding whether i should go for strength or focus, as a physical or elemental based engineer sound equally viable atm.

I play a roboengy so I can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard, the fire/shock passive is OP; using that in a focus/spell based build is apparently very strong. You will probably still want some str though, depending on which skills you plan on using.
