I figure I'd make a bigger effort to post more in this thread. Even if I don't share the same enthuse for music as most of the regulars here, I figure I could just post some fan-art instead. :>
Maybe not everyday (I'd probably run out of stuff to share really quickly lol), but a couple pics every few days, probably sounds good. I probably wouldn't have done this either if I didn't just find out there was a chrome extension for quick rehosting for imgur (yah I'm pretty lazy  )
Anyway, for the first day, the theme is "simple + cute" (Do I need a theme everyday? probably not, but it makes it easier for me to decide what to share)

Since I'm here anyway:
I guess most people avoided the Koko's Heart-throbbing Adventures (wise choice ), but for anyone who did watch them and are waiting for more, I believe part 4 is coming out soon. I think it was meant to come out today even, but there were apparently some difficulties in adding the subs to the videos. As far as I can tell anyways. I just dig around everywhere to find anyone posting the progress on the series translations, so who knows if that was accurate.

Why would anyone even touch paint? Working in paint doesn't only mean you're a good artist (if you make osmething nice) but also you have mastered the most worthless program ever lol. Imagine you are going to paint a picture on a canvas. It's just that you refuse to blend colors and always press as hard as you can. Also ditching your precious layers. /geeky rant

Well he's talking about simply putting a face over a picture so that should be easy, unless he wanted to do it real professionally xD

That paint image looks like minecraft haha. Or am I wrong? I once made some pixel art for a game and it felt pretty horrible. Shading pixels and stuff didn't really feel like art.

The days thing would be interesting I wasn't going to keep track of how many days I've posted at first, but I guess I might as well now. As for the Day 9 thing, I'm horrible with photoshop :> if somebody else wants to make something, feel free.

It's just an extension that lets you right click any image and automatically rehost it on imgur :> I even found it on the site itself.
Anyway for the second day, I started browsing for images today, and decided on a "two person" theme. Halfway through, I found out that was way too general a topic, and decided to cut out anything that's too heavy on the yuri, two characters in combat with each other, or just too plain/boring aka two characters just posing around doing nothing. Also tried to stick with nicer art this time.
In the end, I still ended up with a lot of images. :x A bit more than what I'd usually post, but yay for you guys

I decided to not post artist names. Mostly because I fear what would happen if someone were to look up an artist who just happens to have done any NSFW material. If anyone wants to know a specific artist, they can PM me, and I'll do my best to divulge that information. I bet most people won't mind here anyway.
edit: images ended up being a bit too big, fixed them now. Turns out due to this, I can't use that ez rehosting extension either.

I think Perfect Cherry Blossom is normally the first game you play. I have no idea where you but the games though (I'm a filthy pirate harr harr). Other games that might be nice starting with are all the "standard" ones for windows I guess. The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Imperishable Night, Mountain of Faith, Subterranean Animism, Undefined Fantastic Object (I had to copy from wiki ;_;). These games are considered more normal than the others. There are also fighting games, versus bullet hells ( ? ) and the ones where you take photos. There are also 2 newer games I haven't played, no idea what genre they are.

Anyways I'd say start with TH06 EoSD, as that's the first PC touhou game.
Touhou has the epicest music ever, welcome! Many many people listen to touhou music while they play SC2 (check out some of those "what music do you listen to when you ladder?" threads)
But then again, TH07 PCB is a lot easier. But EoSD I'd have to say is the most iconic, and most people start with that. Like OP says it's one of the harder ones (orly?) but the music was one of the main aspects ZUN specifically focused on for EoSD since it was the first PC game and he wanted to make a good impression on people.
