So, I usually lurk on this thread, because I'm not much of a music enthusiast. Although I have to thank a few of you (mostly Aeres actually) for some of the youtube links that introduced me to a few circles I stick to, so thanks! Anyway, I don't post here because my touhou addiction mostly resides in fanart and english-translated manga. Buuuut, recently, I came across a series of fan-art that kinda piqued my interest in a certain fan-created mini series on nnd. + Show Spoiler [sample] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/oUwIs.jpg) "My hat is my friend, it helps me relax." The videos are pretty much just image stills and lots of text with background music (think manga slideshow). Curiosity led me to find the first 3 parts of the series on youtube with english subtitles. And so I watched them. And I promptly got mind-fucked. Hard. I don't mean by the iosys type of fun-crazy either, but the nightmare-fuellish, monster-lurking-in-the-corner insanity. So much I just had to break out of my lurker mode and share with you all here. <3 Before I post the videos, lemme just reinforce the creator's warning: These videos are strictly the author's twisted view on Gensokyo. If you don't want to defile your own image of Gensokyo, do not watch these videos. I don't post this warning in jest either. Koishi's theme now gives me fucking nightmares. If anyone finds this series and wants more, go on youtube to look for them. ... So for anyone who actually watched them, I've only watched the english-translated parts. I believe there are around 10 parts in total on nnd. I did a little bit of digging around and found out that there is a few people just recently started translating the rest, and once those appear on youtube, I'll link them here as well. So for now discussion on the series should be placed in spoilers, thanks. Anyway, I've been completely entranced by this series and looking forward to the rest being translated and released on youtube. But watching them for the first time actually gave me non-stop chills for several minutes, and I had to remove any of Koishi's tracks from my playlist. Hopefully, the lot of you are braver than I am.  If you want to watch the untranslated parts because you can't wait, you can either find them on youtube or nnd (you need an account). I'm not going to link to those, because I think the next few translated parts will be coming out soon. | ||

Anyway, here's a brilliant arrangement of Captain Murasa, by EastNewSo — um, I mean LiLA'c Records. LR is pretty similar to ENS, and I've been looking for similar circles for quite a bit now, so that's good. LR tends to focus more on danceclub-ish sounds, though, while ENS does more trance.
