I sooo wish that was the case
I get hit by "random shit" where I didn't see/flew right into a bullet far more than times I can't see a good way out and know that a bomb or a death is coming.
Reisen only losing 1
Well, crap. I'm literally 2-for-100 on all but her first spellcard in practice mode (compare that to even fucking Earth Light Ray, where I'm 6-for-90).

as I mentioned earlier, the best way to learn how to dodge is to practice moving as little as possible
it really just takes a lot of practice if you're not used to it
I kinda like this IOSYS remix better. I'm not really a fan of My Desire. Still kind of "meh" about it though.
I hope ZUN uses Yoshika again in the future. Such a silly character. I think at the end of TD she went back to sleep. Why so serious hermits? Let Yoshika come out to play.
It's more of just her stage/boss themes. Both of them are energetic and pretty light and bouncy and fun. Good way to start a game, and plus it's the first stage/boss/game/theme I played through. Plus, no one really arranges soul as red as a ground cherry since there's so many different parts at the same time (I successfully crammed them all in, but it's like up to 4 voices at the same time so you'd need to be really good to play it well... not to mention 3 voices playing different rthymes with 16th notes in it at the same time at the end).
And I didn't like those scary pix i think I said cool or something but i was trolling/being sarcastic.

To what extent should I be trying to move as little as possible?
For instance, in the first half of Stage 4, the part where the 2 death faeries come down at the same time on the left and right hand sides of the screen, and sweep horizontally across. Usually, I start by placing myself directly under the one on the right, focusing him, staying under him as tightly as I can (following him to the middle), and when he dies, switch to the other one and do the same thing. Should I instead be staying on the edge? Or should I be starting that section in the middle and letting them come to me? Or does this just apply to things like the death faeries in stage 5 who just appear and chill in place while spamming bullets?
Likewise with Marisa's Earth Light Ray; I've always treated the super-tight-packed aimed pattern she shoots as a single projectile, grazing it as nearly as possible to make the next one easier to avoid, since trying to weave through it has always ended... badly, to say the least. Should I be trying to weave through it, instead of just going around it?
Hey guys listen up! I need help picking a good TOUHOU SONG for SCHOOL this will be played at lunch to EVERYONE in that lunch (our school has 3 lunches).
We're having charity week and so far they're just playing dance music. The person who handles the "DJ" position and music etc. in our lunch is an otaku and I know him decently. I'll ask him if he likes XXX song and if he can see if he can play it!
They're playing repetitive, light, easy to get into dance/techno stuff, if you know what I mean.
So far I'm thinking of Bad Apple. It's popular, people might recognize it, and it has that dance/techno feel, a catchy rhythm, and an easy to like melody.
I'm also considering a Starry Sky of Small Desires or even True Admin (dbu arrange?) but probably not, since I remember when I first heard those songs, they didn't sound very epic.
Thoughts? thanks in advance :D i'll be sure to record it or something rofl.

How about: Goblin Girl, by Pastry from Bubble records (Hartmann's Youkai Girl remix) + Show Spoiler +
TEI TEC, by REDALiCE (White flag of Usa shrine remix) + Show Spoiler +
Hey everyone, first time poster in the Touhou thread, I was just browsing some online flash games when I came across this: Bullet Heaven.
I had a blast playing this game, I was a complete newb at the beginning having never played this genre of games before but after being sucked into it I played like 2 hours straight and beat the whole game, even beating the final boss with only 2 lost hit points and no bombs used. After playing it I looked in the comments, possibly for more games like that one and I saw the name Touhou mentioned, and I remembered that a thread existed about it here on TL.
So I thought maybe you guys wanted to try it out, since it really was quite fun. Let me know what you think of it, and I will also try to play some real Touhou now after having tasted it in that minigame.
