So I thought maybe you guys wanted to try it out, since it really was quite fun. Still listening to songs atm lol so many :D ^^
Welcome PolskaGora!
Haha bullet HEAVEN, clever name
Edit:
I was confused when I clicked on the "other games" when i started bullet heaven, which led me to the epic battle fantasy games lol xD didn't see the thing at the bottom right to skip
lol epic, whoever makes the music for these games is pretty good. It seems like he tries to make it sound touhou-esque in bullet heaven

LOL hey guys I just 1CC'd IN Final A twice for the first time, first with raymoo and yukarin~ and then with marisa/alice
who would've thought that border team would be SO much easier after exclusively using magic team and dying to eirin for months? even so, I lose a couple of lives/bombs I shouldn't have, but it's pretty funny how I've only touched border team maybe like 3 times before yesterday, and if I run the same way up in a Final B playthrough Kaguya should be ezpz
border team rep is below; don't let the numbers fool you (my download already had some stuff unlocked, so...) maybe I'll post a VOD too

I played bullet heaven (and beat it) before I ever touched a touhou game, and that was when I was retardedly using mouse to control movement; after some months of touhou practice it seems much easier now

I sooo wish that was the case I get hit by "random shit" where I didn't see/flew right into a bullet far more than times I can't see a good way out and know that a bomb or a death is coming. Reisen only losing 1 Well, crap. I'm literally 2-for-100 on all but her first spellcard in practice mode (compare that to even fucking Earth Light Ray, where I'm 6-for-90). as I mentioned earlier, the best way to learn how to dodge is to practice moving as little as possible To what extent should I be trying to move as little as possible? For instance, in the first half of Stage 4, the part where the 2 death faeries come down at the same time on the left and right hand sides of the screen, and sweep horizontally across. Usually, I start by placing myself directly under the one on the right, focusing him, staying under him as tightly as I can (following him to the middle), and when he dies, switch to the other one and do the same thing. Should I instead be staying on the edge? Or should I be starting that section in the middle and letting them come to me? Or does this just apply to things like the death faeries in stage 5 who just appear and chill in place while spamming bullets? Likewise with Marisa's Earth Light Ray; I've always treated the super-tight-packed aimed pattern she shoots as a single projectile, grazing it as nearly as possible to make the next one easier to avoid, since trying to weave through it has always ended... badly, to say the least. Should I be trying to weave through it, instead of just going around it? funnily enough, trying to figure out how best to help you resulted in the above replay of my 1cc, so... in general, a lot of the deaths/wasted bombs you use are because you hug the bottom of the screen too closely which limits your movement, and because you don't have a good sense of your hitbox, so you go into focus unnecessarily or worse you overdodge and run into something you weren't paying attention to
minimizing movement applies to everything... obviously with complicated patterns like death fairies you should focus on killing them as fast as possible, but once they die the bullet density should be low enough that you can dodge through instead of around, and often doesn't require you to move too much. staying in the (vertical) middle of the screen helps with this, since the closer you are to the fairy the fewer bullets you have to dodge once it dies. it's not necessarily about staying in once place at all times, but just minimizing the amount of dodging you need to do so that stray bullets won't screw you over.

Wow, after watching your level 4 and 5 runs, I really need to get better at un-focused. A lot of the times I switch to focused, it's because I don't trust myself to make precise movements when going "fast".
What logic should I be using to decide between normal and focused?
Also, finally made it to 6B on one credit last night! Got smashed by midboss Eirin, though (partially because I lost 2 lives in the stage before her, since I had no idea what was coming).

welp, I cleared Final B - no practice, just bombs and dodging... border team is way easier than magic team T_T
I did a pretty bad job in comparison to yesterday when dodging marisa's everything this time around - no lives lost, but didn't get enough time orbs since I bombed everything; I think I can reasonably prevent 5AM if I don't screw up stage 4 and practice kaguya's last spells a bit
...or I could start clearing other games

What logic should I be using to decide between normal and focused? overall strategy if you care about score, etc. is that so long as you're in human mode and shooting at something you'll get time orbs; you'll only get time orbs as phantasm if you kill something with familiars or if you're fighting a boss and grazing their bullets.
on top of that, most of my normal/focused decisions are due to habit from using magic team - since marisa is so much more powerful than alice, it's usually better to remain unfocused as much as possible so you can kill shit as fast as possible before they move out of range.
BUT since reimu/yukari are relatively similar in power and both have homing to their advantage, it doesn't really make too much of a difference other than what you're facing and comfort. I can remember on a number of occasions where going unfocused as border team forced me to dodge a little more because usually at that time the boss/fairy/etc. would have been dead with Marisa blasting away at it, but never to a significant degree where it was troublesome to dodge the extra bullets

do you know how slow that shit is when you're trying to dodge evil sealing rings and duplex barriers or anything that forces you to stream or any mass clusterfuck of randomness (mainly just anything reimu throws at you)
I mean yeah it's killer but you have to get in a decent position to do it for long enough; sometimes timeout looks like a reasonable option if the patterns are too random ~_~

there is no logic really, always used focused unless you're going to be too slow to do something, like avoid marisa's master spark.
eventually you kinda just tap it on or off by feel.

I'm playing MOF now and I'm having a pretty rough time, lol. Only got to Aya once on normal. Is there any way to change the game resolution? My monitor is only 16 inches and my eyes are feeling pretty strained playing at 640x480. I keep running into random things that I think I'll just graze.

This is interesting, nice arrange. Really nice singing o.o

Apparitions Stalk the night, why is alice on there tho?

3:24 to 3:28 so good :D but then it doesn't sound like rumia no moare
pretty tho! same style as the broken moon from before
I actually like to play on windowed. When it's a bigger screen it's harder to be able to view it all at once. You could move the screen back a lot I guess, but meh. It does strain my eyes but i don't play for that much each time.

I know that MOF is the first game ZUN built on the current engine he is using. Guess there are a couple quirky things going on with it. Runs incredibly smoothly on Windows 7 which is nice.

WOOHOO, 6B CLEARED! With exactly zero lives and zero bombs left
Replay Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?jh20j2hgo3hofy2
Crap score for a clear, but I really don't care right now LOL.
My comments on the run (from memory, since I just completed it a few minutes ago):
Level 1: Utterly crap scoring, I only barely made time. I figured I'd try catching the purple time square thingies after Wriggle Nightbug's first pattern while staying focused for the better point modifier instead of using them to quickly turn human; that was a huge mistake. I also mistimed a lot of the kills on the faeries with familiars (didn't let the familiars come out), which cost me quite a bit.
Level 2: I really should stop trying to do Night Sparrow's Song without bombing it, it ends badly for me far too often (easily 2/3rds of the time). Pretty typical run of this level for me, aside from that.
Level 3: Not much to say on this one. I suck vs. Keine, although I usually do well on Phantasmal Emperor; not tonight, though.
Level 4: Could have been better, although attempts against Marisa tend to run together in my mind as a big bunch of swearing and abject failure, mixed with bombing.
Level 5: Massive failed stream in the second half of the level (I tapped right too hard T_T) cost me a bomb, and I failed Invisible Full Moon in possibly the most spectacularly stupid fashion ever. Aside from that, this went surprisingly well.
Level 6B: Bombs, bombs, and more bombs. And a few times where I tried to bomb, and didn't have any in stock (including once right at the start of the level, and then later, a miraculous moment against one of Kaguya's non-spell attacks, where I tried to bomb, was surprised to not see it come out... and then stared in wonder as all 9 million of the bullets that were surrounding me and about to kill me magically missed me by like a pixel each). Buddha's Stone Bowl is one of the most fun spell cards in the game, even if it is really easy. Also, I cannot believe I actually managed to succeed, given how close the end was. I had literally never seen Rainbow Danmaku before (hence why a few really retarded accidents happen), and very, VERY nearly didn't make it. One tight dodge towards the end, that I had I missed.... ouch. I failed horribly at the last spells, but I didn't care at all at that moment, hahaha.
