HuK, I know you had your reasons for leaving, but I cannot support you anymore. I know you or any of your other fans will give a shit, but I just wanted to say how I feel. Gl in your future. Are you serious? You would have done the exact same thing as HuK and I'm not even speculating, that's fact You are speculating. There's a lot of people who don't take the financially better offer if it means abandoning a steady working environment that gives you more chances in the long run and you fit in well with the people you work with. It's not as uncommon as a lot of people seem to think. There's also plenty of examples in any sport of players who ended up making the wrong turn in their career by blindly chasing money. The world doesn't work as simple as you seem to think. Ok but this is all wrong. If anything, EG is more stable than TL and will offer more chances in the long run. It's just a benefit of how well the business is run, and how many great sponsors they have. I suspect a lot of people think that HuK will be losing practice partners. I'm just trying to think of reasons you might see this as a poor career move. That's not true, all of the teams regularly practice together. Everything I've seen in SC2 (and not only SC2) tells me that EG is nowhere near being more stable than TL, and that they can't really manage the team they have. I have no idea why people think EG is a successful organization - they have no fundamental success at all, they're only living on marketing and hype. This works out well for EG's management and sponsors - but not for the players whose skill and reputation (that they've built elsewhere) they are exploiting. EG will not even be IN Starcraft 2 in the long run. It doesn't make sense for them to keep investing in Korea long term when there are games with million dollar tournaments and much bigger potential in the western scene popping up. I'd Like to hear your reasoning on why EG wont be around, when they have been an Esports team longer than any korean team and all but i think SK gaming in the west (SK started in 97, EG in 99) knowing this, and fostering some of the best player in multiple Titles from RTS/FPS/Fighting games. you have no idea clearly how the Esports world is going. Keep in mind, EG is not owned by a mega corporation like FXO. they had to actually go out and get their money, not write it off in taxes at the end of the year. As far as stability goes, what makes you think they arent stable? every single one of EG's roster seems pretty damn happy to me. and now Puma,IdrA, and HuK will live together and of course still practice with oGs and IM and the others. this was a great move. if I were you, i wouldnt presume to know anything about Esports, bc you clearly dont
If you knew more about the history of esports, you would know that neither SK nor EG are the brightest and most positive stories of western esports. In fact, both are highly controversial and increasingly unpopular.
I'm also not sure what you mean by praciticing "with" oGs and IM and others. They're 3 people who don't really know each other living together. I hope you don't think that practicing with people outside of the team is in any way, shape or form equally beneficial to practicing in-house.

I've always been a fan of you HuK just please don't pick up on idra's bad habits like rage quitting!

If I'm not on the list please add me.
Huk is the most worthy player to be receiving a huge contract like this. Its awesome that eg can front an amount that would cause huk to leave.
Congrats huk and best of luck in the eg house. Maybe you can help idra to become more relaxed.

You seem to be making an important mistake. EG and SK are not esports stories. They are very successful and renowned esports organisations.
If you are looking for a story, read the newspaper.

All the best Chris, but seeing the picture on top of this fanclub changing so fast makes me sad.

Can there be successful esports organizations without successful esports? That's something the west never really had in the first place, not in small part due to the superficial and greedy understanding of "business" that people at the forefront of western esports always seem to have.
EG and SK are journeyman organizations that have mastered the art of predatory survival in the chaos that western esports always was, and by the looks of it, always will be. "Renown" and "success" are really not a suitable way to describe them - but it's okay, we probably have different criteria.

At first i was like FUUUUU HuK BACKSTABBER but i would probably do the same and EG probably put some heavy $$$$$ down to get HuK and TL just aquired Sheth and HerO so i guess they just couldn't compete. But man IdrA and HuK on the same team!!!!! im sure they wont kill each other but they wont like each other.

I stayed up to watch you win this morning in code S. Wearing the liquid' shirt. I'm glad I did. I'll keep that memory close to me now.

Much love and respect Huk. As much as a fan can have. Regardless of the team you're on I'll cheer for you with all I've got because I know you're giving no less in the booth!

I hope you can still improve even though your not in the oGs house Good luck with EG though!

I hope you use the connections you've made in Korea to maintain similar practice partners. You've got to stay on your toes and keep ahead of the game, You're easily the top player on EG now and just playing with them isn't going to keep you in proper shape.
Hope everything works out for you on the new team, Keep fighting!
