I have no idea why people think EG is a successful organization - they have no fundamental success at all, they're only living on marketing and hype. This works out well for EG's management and sponsors - but not for the players whose skill and reputation (that they've built elsewhere) they are exploiting. EG will not even be IN Starcraft 2 in the long run. It doesn't make sense for them to keep investing in Korea long term when there are games with million dollar tournaments and much bigger potential in the western scene popping up. Hm I think EG is one of the most professional organisation in E-Sports. I don't get why they should be less stable in sc2. Compared to TeamLiquid's sponsors, they have more financial stability than one would guess. Oh and sign me up. I'm not a supporter of EG, but a big fan of Huk. Keep pursuing your dreams and goals HuK <3

If you're a true HuK fan you will respect any decision that he makes. If HuK feel's hes better off on a team like EG, then by all means he should pursue it. Would I prefer if HuK stayed on liquid? Yes, without a doubt. However at the end of the day, it's all about what's best for the players we support and I welcome HuK's decision with a supportive and open mind.

One becomes a fan of a player because of the way he plays, but also because of his character and the decisions he makes. It only makes sense that one stops being a fan for the exact same reasons - when you're no longer on the same wave length as your once favorite player, you feel his character has changed and he's making the decisions that go against what you liked about him initially, what's left to support? I'm not arguing against your points, just explaining the other side of the argument.

I'd Like to hear your reasoning on why EG wont be around, when they have been an Esports team longer than any korean team and all but i think SK gaming in the west (SK started in 97, EG in 99) knowing this, and fostering some of the best player in multiple Titles from RTS/FPS/Fighting games. you have no idea clearly how the Esports world is going. Keep in mind, EG is not owned by a mega corporation like FXO. they had to actually go out and get their money, not write it off in taxes at the end of the year. As far as stability goes, what makes you think they arent stable? every single one of EG's roster seems pretty damn happy to me. and now Puma,IdrA, and HuK will live together and of course still practice with oGs and IM and the others. this was a great move. if I were you, i wouldnt presume to know anything about Esports, bc you clearly dont
