By the way, I really, really like his new playstyle. Here's for hoping he continues with it.

Idra just tilts when he sees the deathball and he stops thinking. The Broodlord + ling+ infestor combo was beautiful. Idra you are the most entertaining zerg to watch, by far. But the bad manners and unprofessional attitude will cost you games and fans in the long run. It is so much more intimidating to play an opponent who is cool as hell and never speaks than to play a game against a guy who tilts. Most entertaining? What about July or Leenock? Idra's ragemania is really starting to backfire.

But at pro lvl, everybody has great mechanics (in sc2) and game sens. But in sc2 with the actual state of the game you cannot think i'm gonna beat X top player player with my flawless mechanics, it's just completely wrong, the game has not a huge skill ceiling, so you have to find other ways to win against top players and not just ima outmacro him or outmultitask him, etc. It could be true with a game with huge skill cap like bw, but not in sc2. So i think if Idra wants to become the top of the top he has to more analyse the players he faces, identify their style and weakness and prepare for it and not just think he can beat them with pure skill, game sens, etc. he has to change his mindset. my 2 cents The skill cieling in sc2 is as high as in BW.. just atm balance is a bit funky and BO's arent completely sorted out. when a bit more balancing occurs and strat counters are figured out, whats going to seperate the best player from the 2nd best? mechanics. Saying that sc2 has a low skill cap is silly, it still takes over 400apm to play flawlessly. Even the koreans are playing pretty poorly atm. (compared to BW) when we see players get A LOT better, youll start to see mechanics deciding games, and mechanics seperating the best from the rest

EG.IdrA vs Ret/Huk/Sheth/qxc - This can go either way, a HuK re-match would be great, and pretty fair for Greg. Otherwise, I think he's pretty safe, he's stomped qxc everytime they've met, and his zvz is really great.

I think IdrA would do really well in a game against HuK, unless he lets those previous games phase him. I mean, he would have 2-0'd HuK in that other set if not for having left when he had already pretty much won. He was ripping HuK to pieces with harassment everywhere. It looks like IdrA has really learnt how to dismantle a 200/200 Protoss deathball, and I think that is what HuK is best at, really.

Also, the premature ragequit on the meta game was bad, but also an example of how Idra unlike some players doesn't just drag losing games out in absurdum wasting his and the viewers' time. In a way Idra respects his opponents more than others do, as he expects them never to lose if they've gotten a giant advantage, so he quits instead.

I agree with all other parts with you, but this part just made me laugh. I'm pretty sure IdrA and HuK have a pretty strong rivalry between each other, and not the friendly kind either.

At least IdrA keeps it to himself and doesn't get into HuKs face with it during games.

He seems like the most fragile player in the world and so easy to upset, for a "BM King" when the reverse happens he seems to buckle down under pressure and lose it. I hope iNcontrol or someone at EG grabs him and simply lays it down on him. If you truly want this guy to become the best he needs to desperatly improve his mentality, which seems made of glass at this point. So I heard Greg reads each and every post on here. He personally thanks each and every fan club member for finding "excuses" and "loopholes" so he can purposely lose games. No he doesn't read each and every post nor does he care when people 'BM' him. Him losing hurts him as much as it hurts us if not more because he's the only one who could of changed the outcome of the game. Stop making assumptions based on outright stupid information.

This zergling is bleeding but you can't see his blood It's nothing but some feeling that it's a bunker rush It's been imbalance since you left the beta Now I'm droning with a fear You see i've been a fighter, but with zerg UP, I gg I can't play macro game like the way it's meant to be Well I guess I'm not that good anymore but baby, that's just zerg Chorus: But I will play Zerg, baby, always I'll play zerg forever and a day, always I'll play it till the Queen stops inject, till the hatchery bursts and the roach gets lifted And I know when I die, I'll be with the Overmind And I'll love you always Now the dying broods you left behind Are just memories of what used to be a spire Some mutas hatched, other mutas died Some made it into opponent's mineral line What I'd give to have more hydralisks, and they have EMP When I say my prayers, try to understand I've made mistakes, I'm just a man When he went voidrays, when he showed colo When he said that they were just hallucinating I wished I was him, 'cause the game was mine But I gg'ed out now I do regret But I will play zerg, baby, always And I'll be there forever and a day, always If you told me to cheese for you, I could If you told me to gg for you, I would Take a look at this Gracken, there's no price they won't pay To hear gg from me. Well there ain't no luck In these loaded matchups But baby if you give me just one more try I can pack up my BO with my own timings We'll find a time where he make mistakes. Would be nice if someone can record it into a song ![]()

BW is much harder than SC2, the mechanics alone prove that. To just macro properly it requires much more practice and skill. Unit AI is retarded as well in BW making micro much harder, and requires much more knowledge of the game.
