People were saying they aren't gonna promote it? Anyone know anything about that?
This might be heresy, but I think I'm actually more excited to see this sub-unit than I would be to see the full group. For the first time in what seems like five years (or more) they are using all their members effectively.
SNSD's biggest strength back in the day was not in their lead vocals. Obviously those were very strong, but what really set them apart was their superb group sound. Later, they focused too much on the TTS singers (and Jessica when she was there) at the expense both of the other members and of their overall tone. This was probably partly to blame on the poorer quality of the tracks they were given to sing, but when you compare the full harmonization you find in the choruses of their earlier albums to the bland, one-dimensional sound of the chorus in later songs like Mr Mr, You Think or All Night, you can see that they lost a step. Not sure if they were just like "hey autotune exists, why bother harmonizing" or what, but it almost seems like they stopped trying to sing well as a group and just trusted the lead vocalists to carry everything.
And despite the fact that they no longer have three of their top four vocalists, they are still well above most groups vocally. Taeyeon is obviously really good, but Sunny continues to amaze me: she may not have as much raw vocal power, but her upper register is quite good and she can produce more varied timbres in her voice than I think I've heard from any other k-pop singer.
Also, I don't think I've seen the B-side posted on the forums, so here it is:
Notice how differently Sunny and Hyo use their voices in Fermata as opposed to Lil' Touch.

BURN THE WITCH /s I like the song, B-Side is nice as well. Definitely better than Party.
Really liking the new OMG. Gonna grab their album for sure!(as always lol)
Showcase Stage - Binnie looking fire.
UNI.T having their comeback soon. I feel like the hype around this group really died out when the first single didn't chart that well but for me Im super excited and Im still listening to No More. Really too bad they didn't get big since so many people in the group have worked so hard for so long in their previous groups but didn't achieve it.

Nah time limit like the rest of the groups who are formed like this. The point was to give already debuted artists a 2nd chance and more exposure through the show. Im not actually sure if they only planned 2 comebacks from the start but their first release didnt do that well so might've been a reason its just kinda ending like this T_T
Edit: Im actually reading this isnt the title track. It's a B side that they decided to release early. The 'real' comeback is on the 18:th.
