Second round of eliminations next week. With the vote reset and yuesple (yuehua, starship & pledis) stuff, i'm actually getting nervous for my favourites.
Now that the performance evaluations are done, my favourites were Instruction (dance) and ITNW (vocal). The teamwork and energy from Instruction's choreo made it stand out. Suyun really grabbed my attention in that performance. I didn't focus much on the vocal performances, but i really liked Nako and Chaewon's singing in ITNW.
Apart from those, Wonyoung did well in Side To Side and always has this centre aura, while i'm sad that Yujin became invisible in her team.

Yeah he mentioned that. They were the first group he tried it on and it was such a success so now he wants to do it for everyone.

I think out if my top 12 realistically, Son Eunchae and Kim Nayoung are out. I'm also a bit nervous about Takahashi Juri and Na Goeun. I hope the Koreans who were streaming Miu's solo actually bothered to vote for her. I think 7K/5J is a good split to promote in both countries. I also think for the purposes of activities in Japan you need to have several senbatsu members in there which I'd part of the reason why I hope Hitomi and Miu get in as underdogs and Sakura, Nako, and Juri also make it.

Damn no action in this thread for days. Well I went on a little trip across the globe and today I ended up in a pretty cool place. Merch and albums for daaaaaays. Shibuya Tower Records. Not only was I the only foreigner in the 'Kpop Girls' section, I was also the only male on pretty much the entire Kpop floor lmao. Couldnt find any LOONA Yves or Olivia Hye, they had all the others I think or at least a ton of them so only bought the new Chungha and BlackPink. Yay no shipping cost. Was kinda shocked at their inventory still, I saw some old 5Dolls albums in there... They had basically everything heh. If anyone is on Tokyo and wanna do something hit me up! I'm pretty bad at finding stuff but learning more and more each day but I got 0 Japanese skills.

There wasn't much happening apart from some announcements and Hellovenus Lime's release, which was all right. Some things in August I'm looking forward to are combacks from DIA, Red Velvet & (G)I-dle and also Loona's debut.

Im here for 2 weeks and then I gotta get back home since my vacation days are running out. Sadly no Korea visit, maybe next year... Yeah there is a bad heatwave but its the same temp etc that i had back in Sweden. It's pretty bad honestly but managable. Just have to make pit stops at my hotel to shower / change clothes etc from time to time Good exercise tho!

i kept the same 7K/5J ratio. i decided to add chaewon and haeyoon because of their strong vocals. i honestly don't care about elite dance skills too much. everyone left in the top 30 has shown that they can keep up with girlgroup choreography if they have time to practice it. it's not like they are going to be performing BTS-level stuff. but for sure, just looking at the members, dance would be their weakest point. singing, variety, visual, charisma, etc would all be top-tier. also my minimum age for any member is 16. i feel bad leaving a few other contestants out who i feel "deserved" a spot like kaeun, miyu, chowon, chaeyeon, miho, etc but when looking at the overall group image and feel, they did not fit.
Black Pink really pulling ahead of Red Velvet in my book. I dunno that song seems like a CF song maybe? Not a fan anyway...
