For me it's Jaekyung/Long-haired Woori #1 and Hyunyoung after them in terms of Rainbow members. Everyone else is w/e.

It's like there's something perverted in her angel baby face. She's n°2 though imo, I'm Woori biased. lurking in cratonz minus now^^... Oh and I was looking for this the other day : + Show Spoiler + came across this along the way : + Show Spoiler + The poor guy in charge of cross dressign in Infinite. The most wtf factor here is the huge teenage girls audiance cheering for him.

Either way, I would've expected people to vote for their fave anyways instead of who they think is the hottest. I voted for Woori because I believe she is the hottest. If we went by favorite, I would have chosen Jisook because she's (of course, in my opinion) the cutest/prettiest.

Sony Music Entertainment has sealed a license and partnership deal with rookie girl band Crayon Pop, a sign that global music labels are increasingly watching the Korean music industry in hopes of spotting the next Psy. Crayon Pop’s five girls jump up and down during the chorus of “Bar Bar Bar,” in what is now dubbed the “Straight-Five Engine Dance” for its resemblance to an engine’s cylinders. The lyrics of the chorus don’t go far beyond “Jumping, everybody” but its YouTube video has received more than 2 million hits since its release June 20, triggering a rash of reaction and parody videos. The deal with Sony Music, which boasts global artists like Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Usher and Avril Lavigne, was struck two weeks after senior officials visited Korea in late July. Edgar Berger, CEO of International and Denis Handlin, President of Asia were in the country to check out its music scene and meet promising young Korean singers, according to the company. The two heads were “very impressed with the group’s different and original performance” and concluded that “the band can make it in the global market,” said Lee Se-hwan, a spokesman from Sony Music’s Korean office. Crayon Pop’s wacky and fun choreography as well as its addictive and repetitive melodies are reminiscent of Psy’s sensationally popular horse-riding dance from “Gangnam Style.” “Since Psy’s global popularity, the head office has been showing a lot of interest in the Korean music scene and want to know what’s hot,” Mr. Lee said. Crayon Pop debuted last year and the girls try to differentiate themselves from perfectly-groomed and sexy girl bands by being intentionally funny. They wear school uniforms, motorcycle suits with helmets or the iconic yellow jumpsuits made famous by action star Bruce Lee. Early last week, the band released a dance tutorial video, at one point wearing scrub towels on their hands, in hope of taking their dance viral. “Working with a global company like Sony Music will be a great opportunity for Crayon Pop to grow further and I am really excited about what this deal could bring about in the future,” said Hwang Hyun-chang, the chief executive at Crayon Pop’s label Chrome Entertainment, in a statement. http://blogs.wsj.com/korearealtime/2013/08/13/sony-music-looks-to-korea-signs-crayon-pop/ And some old, smooth CP:

For any other established group you gotta wonder, and be abit scared, because it will probably fail. But for such a rookiegroup? Great

Not really a, relatively, big deal, a label is just a label. Chocolat was established under Paramount/Universal Entertainment. NS Yoonji's tied to Sony. Having an international recording label pegged to you doesn't change much, might let you grab music/lyrics from a more ethnically mixed publisher pool and insures that your en.wikipedia entry gets updated regularly. Does not mean a giant marketing engine is being set up to punch their name into every face in the corporation's sphere of influence. Chocolat's Black Tinkerbell promo cycle was flat out aborted, despite having regular pushes for their previous releases. NS Yoonji's ustream show only got and average of 50k viewers over its six episode run, compared to EXID's 60k average in it's regular ButBut season 1 and forgotten season 2. Move to a more pre-recorded format, don't upload the episodes Thanks Horang. Also AB Entertainment's website has been offline for two months, project group can't even have a well maintained internet presence. Just going to be the same level of marketing to people already in the know. Then again, Crayon Pop's fanbase is a fair bit batshit, so maybe they'll get handled a little bit differently. Unrelated; fknHook Zerg please keep your muta/lings away from Kota.

Barbarbar went viral in Korea but they will never have another successful song after it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-eoA0AY20g Sounds like some brilliant well thought out analysis there. Same kind of wonderful analysis that said they'd get nowhere with their "guerilla" style of marketing in the beginning. Basic rule of life: Don't rule out anything. Especially if there's no evidence or track record to back up your hypothesis. Very nice fancam though. I appreciate that.

I'm pretty sure plenty of people counted out Crayon Pop ever since their first release.
