To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

I recognize everyone he mentions from lurking old threads except himself, AG. Well best of luck yo, you sound/look like a total bro and whatever happens and whatever you do, I'm sure you'll kick ass yo.
Just more people. Thread moves fast as hell, more people, less community, more creeps. Pretty simple. Back then, it was really only maybe 15-25 people max give or take a few lurkers. Now there's like 100+, leading to like days where the thread moves like 25-40 pages or something insane.
Ya this shit sucks. I can't keep up anymore and I can't even find the actual content anymore(new MVs, teasers etc). I feel so lost. Someone should do a weekly recap or something with everything important that came out in the last week and it should be edited into the op or something.

Ah, you're right, one is an idealized, perfectly modeled woman that you can never be with but love to the point of insanity regardless, and the other is + Show Spoiler +
an anime girl
.
I read ecchi/romance manga on a regular basis, so I generally see anime girls as real characters/personalities, so it's really the same to me, fictional or not.
Dude you gotta snap out of the "anime girl = real girl" thing man. THAT's creepy, not the ecchi stuff.
Its not that they are real, but if its a good anime story then its not hard to get attached to some, tearing up and feeling bad for them etc, sure they are not real but neither are the actresses nor actors you see on TV(the roles they perform) yet you can still get attached to them.
anyway its pretty offtopic.
Yeah but thats usually because of good storytelling. If you somehow feel connected to the anime/manga girl and you feel sad/happy with them it becomes creepier.
How is that separate? If the girl is written well, you will feel emotional alongside them. I felt attached to Ender reading Ender's Game, is that creepy? No, he's brilliantly written and when he started breaking down psychologically, I felt anxious for him.
Maybe some people just get into literature (and yes, I count manga among this) more than others.

First off that picture of silverfire, AG, and I is the product of long minutes searching in between games. Do you know how hard it is to find one Asian guy in a crowd of 500+ people? I do now, and lemme tell ya, it was friggin worth it. Also silverfire's face when we told him who we were was bestest.
For all those that could possibly remember, AG is exactly as you would imagine as he would be in real life. His passion for kpop (and certain individuals in kpop) is unparalleled and infectious in real life. Some people would shy away from talking in real life about watching younger girls sing and dance in languages they don't understand, but not AG, he'll talk your ear off about it. Even real life friends of his know his passion for Hyuna. If there was any KMD member who would feel right at home shooting back beers and talking kpop, it's AG. Cheers to you bro, never change.
This might sound strange after a paragraph talking about AG, but I think KMD and its members "back then" was more grounded. When I think back to that time, I imagine people sitting around talking about kpop. When I think about KMD now, I feel like posters now are a little more fanatical about kpop and their idols. I mean, back then we never had a warning to not post creepy sex dreams, and that's because we sure as hell didn't need it. Don't get me wrong. Showing passion and love for idols and going a little nuts over every picture/MV/public appearance isn't always a bad thing (although sex dreams is definitely crossing that line) it's just a different thread for different people. KMD hasn't gotten worse, it's changed, and that's ok, but it won't stop us old timers from remembering what it used to be.
lol; what planet did you live on back then?
Not a whole hell of a lot has changed in the last year or two.

I would have agreed if the page right before your post wasn't three people using the thread as a personal conversation or chat room. Not that I really mind but people can't complain that the thread isn't doing as well and at the same time accept this kind of stuff. Step it up and take action or don't complain in my opinion...
Also I would appreciate if people stopped referring to me as the "bar for creepy" or whatever... Doesn't feel really nice to read.

HyunA for me is weird. Cause if I look at her face I don't think it's attractive, but as soon as she's in a video she's charismatic as fuck and hella attractive. I don't get it either.

probably 80% of the active readers in KPT are creeps, including myself but you take the cake for being KPT's #1 creeper

Is it weird to feel sympathy for a character in a movie, tv-series or even a book? Because this is the exact same thing, and if you think it's creepy to have emotions for smth like that, then I don't know what to say...

So a couple of days ago someone was looking for a song played in a drama called Golden Time, it seemed like it was the outro of the drama so it might have been the OST. Well the OST's first part was released yesterday, here are the songs.
^ Yea, this is another instance of M/V that can be really good without too much focus on pretty idols (male or female), even if Hyuna is really hot as always. Definitely #1 M/V of the year for me (probably only until Yoonji's though ).

I've only been around for a month, but so far I've seen no creepy posts from you whatsoever. Either you've done some stuff in the past or I have a different definition of creepy than the rest of the thread lol.
Also, I feel like a general change in attitude would help this thread a lot. Constantly complaining and bullying posters you don't like is just as, if not more, detrimental to this thread than all of the "bad posters." Kpop is happy music so be happy

If you look at the rules, the "creepy" bit up there, that was added because of him .
Anyway i phrased that really poorly and its not what i meant, im not even sure what i meant anymore so im just going to drop it.
@Falcon, hope you've enjoyed your stay. The word creep around here seems to mean different or open/honest as far as I can tell. I'm getting used to this new definition but I think it's definitely over-used. And you got that right, always smile!
