Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
Wow Zinger has a pretty good voice... Also Secret is top 3 vocals in terms of dancing kpop type groups I think (probably due to only being four of them) Anyway, good song.
this may or may not come across as sexist but I just don't really think that most girl group rappers have the right authority in their voice to properly rap without sounding like douches.
Give anyone of those girls a T/PSY/Verbal Jint song and it'll still sound like ass
Guys, guys, guys, WTF. KARA was at MBC Music festival and I wasn't aware of it! Shame on me. I was checking out OurNikori.Blogspot like I do everyday and almost entered cardiac arrest because of these pics.
And regarding the poll, I'm a little surprised by the results, so far 17 people voted that they like female idol rapping but everyone that actually replied and wrote something were pretty much against it. Why you lurkers don't come out of hiding, we don't bite. Well, some do...

uuuh, no.
Bieber. Backstreet, nsync, 98 degrees, boys to men. It comes in phases, but there are a lot more boy bands/cutsey boys than girl groups.
The only girl group I can remember taking off in America was the spice girls. Britney, Christina, and Miley Cyrus all tried to get out of the "innocent girl" thing as fast as possible. Americans like divas. Just look at beyonce, adele, lady gaga.
As mentioned already...Asian males in general can pull off...pardon me..."homo/pretty boy" concept better than any White male. White does it = OMG BURN HIM AT STAKE! Asian does it = OMG THAT IS SO WEIRD, BUT I LOVE IT.
I could be wrong as I don't follow this stuff...but look at Justin Bieber...where else did he get that "omg he's so gay" image about him? (although most haters are just jealous, but I don't really think he's talented or anything...just one of the few teenage idols for the many teenage fangirls...)
Bring Shinee into US debut (I think their english sucks even more than other notables, but let's ignore that) , few weeks of awkwardness, but I am sure there will be rabid fangirls all over them (well I guess there are already...)
@Tu: WHAR IS EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE? AMBER?!
I agree that Asians have a relatively easier time pulling off the exotic elegant androgynous look due to facial structure, lack of body hair, no prominent brows, lighter figures, etc . . . but Americans don't really receive foreign things well, especially not Asians lol.
My DVR is set & ready tonight for SNSD on Letterman w/ Bill Murray as a bonus! I haven't caught up on Letterman ever since his Top 10 jokes of George W. Bush.

Not sure if it will be streamed since most people can watch it on local TV, but the performances are all uploaded by CBS.

You can probably find it on torrents relatively quickly after the show ends.
