I'm not experienced enough to know much in the way of recommendations, but I can say that the Type-Moon classics Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime are well known.

Yeah, my friends all orgasm over Tsukihime, I know that one pretty well, lol Edit: Thanks for the link too, I should have clarified that I wanted translations.

List looks a bit out of date. From that list...Chaos;Head, Cross Channel, Higurash, Tsukihime+Kagetsu Tohya, Narcissu, ONE, Planetarian, Sekien no Inganock, Sharin no Kuni, Umineko no Naku Koro ni (up to ep7 now), Utawarerumono. Gsenjou no maou finished like Christmas last year or something, while Southlight would hate me for recommending that I'd say read that too. Clannad translation is fully finished iirc. Canvas 2 is supposedly the best in that series but I have no idea. If Kizuato translation is done that's worth a read too. Same for Tomoyo After. Eien no Aselia should be finished too, and while people are at it they should also play Seinarukana. If Baldr sky translation is actually getting anywhere that too. Do people actually let the full voice play out? I think I only listen to some important looking segments or when I am autoing due to doing other things.

Guess DarthXX just wanted a horror/suspense anime with a serious plot and zombies. I absolutely loved Hots the way it was. The wet boobs the panty shots, the bathroom scenes, the apron-on-bare-skin moments etc. It was all good. I understand people not being fans of this genre but bashing it everytime and everywhere it is brought up is getting tiresome. Honestly most people just think ecchi is a form of hentai anime although some ecchi will show nude scenes they are also more than capable of having decent story's while not going over bored with panty shots etc. Animes such as Shuffle! and Chobits are considered ecchi but are also in my opinion very decent animes, you could also look at To Love Ru, although it has a lot more ecchi in it. It is pretty decent, and the genre needs to stop being compared side to side with hentai

I really love the anime and the manga and I was looking forward to see the movie but I can't seem to find a good source to download it (already subtitled). Can anyone help me? :b (pming me would be best) I have heard of no such thing. If this is true I'm going to have to look for it when I get home from work today. Though, I'll seriously be creeped out if the girl that plays Sawako really looks like the chick from the Ring.

I'm scared that I'm gonna get a virus. Avoiding virused stuff on the internet is easier than you think. 0) Do you have Norton? Uninstall it and install Avira AntiVir. 1) Is ur torrent site well known or uploader reliable? - Proceed 2) Does your torrent site have boobs all over it? - Proceed with caution 3) Are the files ur trying to torrent coming up at like 40kb in size? - Prolly a virus 4) Does the download window open before you click to download? - Prolly a virus 5) Does ur torrent name match exactly with your search text? - Prolly a virus 6) Is ur torrent a string of numbers/letters? - Proceed with caution, I've found a few of these are viruses, but a lot of them are also legit, just a cataloging method used by the torrent site. 7) Is ur torrent suspicious in other ways? - Read the comments to see if its legit, if there are no comments and you can't be sure, best to avoid. General guidlines I follow on the internet, never got a virus on my computer in several years of usage so I'm doing something right ![]()

I'm scared that I'm gonna get a virus. READ THE COMMENTS. There is absolutely no reason why you should ever get a virus from torrents. If the file is popular and there's a virus in it, somebody will have mentioned it, guaranteed. Also, when in doubt, get your stuff from hongfire. They're usually pretty trustworthy, plus the more popular works will have a lot of comments so that you can make sure that what you're downloading is actually what you think you're downloading. The posts also help if you're having problems with installation or whatever. On January 13 2011 13:01 Ferrose wrote: Okay, I feel like an idiot. I downloaded some of the files from the link EchOne posted. But it's a RAR file. So I extracted it. But now I'm totally lost. You're gonna have to give me more details if you want help since I don't know what's in those archives. But I'll try and make a couple guesses. Is there a readme file? Read it and see if there's installation instructions. This is usually vital to determine what kind of translation patch you'll be using. Sometimes it's installed by dragging files into the game folder once it has been installed. Other times the patch will ask for access to the game files and install the game with the translation files without needing further input from you. Is it a .iso file or another type of cd/dvd archive? You have to mount it with software like Daemon Tools. What this software does is create a virtual dvd drive that your system will use. So you're basically playing a virtual dvd on a virtual dvd player. If the patch requires you to install the game beforehand, you will need to change your unicode language to Japanese or use Applocale. Otherwise, the installer will display a bunch of boxes instead of Japanese characters and won't work properly. MORE DETAILS PLS. But yeah basically to have any sort of decent speed at these things just reading the text is much better. Trying to listen to these games will take ages.

Even if it's just a second, hearing the emotion in a voice at various points makes a huge difference... if done well. I know, give up voice and the medium becomes kind of questionable. If it is written as novel-like as type-moon then it is one thing, for most VNs they simply can't afford to try something like that without ruining the experience.
