Mostly enjoying the circus in the #elitistfags IRC channel and on 4chan, TBH.
People are so misinformed and acting stupid over the entire thing.
edit: The only group I do work for currently is BSS. I am affiliated with gg and that entire shebang, though.

Fansubbing is all about e-adoration. Of course it happens often.
Take Doki, for example. The leader has said on IRC before that their stated goal is to get more people into their IRC channel.

It's hard to get dedicated capper and it costs something like said on that website. So for the more smaller or newer groups that was great way to get an ts.

The idea that every group has a capper isn't true. Very few have their own dedicated capper. A lot of groups actually have gotten ts's from the capbox behind EF for years now. A lot of groups that claim to have their own capper in fact just share a single guy.
