While I don't super big anime experience to back up my fear, but seeing a main character with whom girls are attracted to for no particular reasons is a big red alert to me ^^
That said, I'll keep watching. Maybe it'll turn out good, who knows?

Girl, singular, the guild master didn't even look attracted to him. Not with her sounding like your friendly neighborhood aunt or grandma when talking to you.

Did you start watching Macross Frontier and immediately think "god damnit, another harem show"?
Log Horizon is going to be great. Mages can't yolomode solomode like melee characters, and he doesn't seem to be hellbent on being a complete loner. I'm not sure where this idea that it's going to become a harem comes from - it doesn't seem like that at all.
Nagi no Asukara looks like it's going to be another stellar performance by PA Trainwrecks.
Nagi no Asukara looks like it's going to be another stellar performance by PA Trainwrecks.
Does that mean it's going to do good or bad?
Hm. Only way I can see this show going real bad is if they decide to do some whack supernatural bullshit like how KyoAni does lately. Other than that, it cant be bad if they just go the boring drama romance route like they're normally known for.

Im confident it will be the latter though.
The latter is exactly why 100% of their original stuff has been utter shit.
so i've been watching sailor moon again cos why not. I watched the dub when i was but a small child, watching the sub now and holy crap the last 2 episodes of the first season are brutal haha.
I actually enjoyed it far more than i thought i would, not sure how much further i get though as I think chibi-usa appears soon and i seem to remember her as being the worst character in anything ever.

I hope you realized what you've done, right? You have summoned him.
Guys I'm looking for an anime to watch, I'm just gonna list the animes I loved and the ones I didn't. Naruto: Was my first watch it started out absolutely amazing, but since then now has it's ups and downs. Bakemonogatari: Sweet ass! very deep, twisted and psychological, very hard to follow, but absolutely worth it. Puella Magi Madoka: Epic theme song got me in, good story kept me around, it just got better and better. Baccano!: Sooo funny!, while still having a serious plot, the characters in this one, was so well developed, it was Tarantino like. Watamote: Absolutely adorable, funny and weird.
Death Note: Really sick first episode and the one, with the girl agent. For me plot wasn't that interesting and it got really dragged out. I don't like Mecha and have looked into other fighting animes that didn't impress me. I'm kind of undecided for Katanagatari..

What exactly are you looking for? You listed a bunch of anime whose genre was all over the place.
For something similar to Naruto: Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Bakemonogatari: Watch the sequels. Refer to MyAnimeList.net.
Watamote: Any kind of comedy works here, Ill just list my favorites: Baka to Test, Binbougami, Daily Lives of High School Boys.
More so, everyone here will also tell you to refer to the reccomendation chart at the top, which has a lot of good suggestions suited for each genre.
