1) how much yuri is in this show? comparable to madoka? 2) how action packed is it? 3) It is an old series, is the movie coming out this year the finale of the franchise or are they producing more anime later?
thanks in advance
1.) There is no yuri at all in it. 2.) Depends on which season. 3.) The 1st movie covered season 1, the 2nd movie cover season 2. Even though the 1st Movie is technically a "recap" of the first season, it is better than the first season in literally every way. It looks better, its paced better, it cut out all the crap from the first season, and made all the stuff that was good better. However, its nothing but mahou shoujo battle mahou shoujo talk mahou shoujo blah blah blah And I also can't really stand mahou shoujo , they just don't make any sense military wise. Why in the world would you want to recreate human technology on magic machines when you are not bound by mechanical laws? Bows and ribbons on mahou shoujo makes no sense, and such huge surface area only makes you a target practice and greatly increases drag force. Having legs on mahou shoujo have no use whatsoever most of the time unless traversing in jungle-like environment, but why bother when you can fly. mahou shoujo in those shows don't even use their legs to "run" anyway, they just have some wings at bottom of their feet to push them forward. Completely defeats the purpose! any show with heavy mahou shoujo undertone kills the series in my book. Heartcatch Precure was ok, at least they have the common sense to transform when going at a high speed (also mahou shoujo was not the selling story) I can tell this is a cheap shot at my earlier post, but you do realize they are not comparable right? Mecha shows invest and takes itself seriously within the realm of realism, while mahou shoujos are not. I wouldn't have a problem with mech too much if many of them don't spend wall of texts telling the scientific reasoning behind why mech was superior or how they destroyed tanks and armies with them. You do realize these are areas that ticks on people, right? I don't go around watching movies and think about how unaccurate or unscientifically it is, especially fantasy or comedy films. But you bet I will realize the miniscule details if it uses science as the story backbone. Seriously, why do you post to make fun of someone? If you don't have valid information regarding to my question, why even answer? I don't remember attacking you personally at all. way to be a complete ass First half of my post was completely valid information. There is no yuri in Nanoha, thats just a myth created by people who want to force yuri onto everything with even the slightest imagined undertones. How action packed it is depends on the season. The first movie covered season 1, the 2nd movie will cover A's.

My face when you take mechs science as real science. Because, yknow, every mechs show doesn't use some form of completely fucking baseless and imaginary science to explain mechs, ie g stone, minovski fusion, spiral power, myolmir muscles, Giant fucking demigods encaged in armor. Yeah, mechs science is totally 100% serious and totally is used to "validate the shows's existence"/"used as the story backbone."

Duskmaiden End:
+ Show Spoiler + i like both endings, the way she fades is really emotionally powerful, on the other hand why not have her linger and go with the mc when his time has come, great show, did not expect it when i started it for the fanservice, i think anyone can pick the end that feels right at the time.
now only mouretsu pirates left for this season, i must say there were some great shows, fate zero was not alone, maybe alone at the top, but not too far ahead of the other shows.
i doubt next season can beat this one, but HARRRRR isn't it always the same? XD pretty sure some hidden gems will appear between all the rubble that is bound to come <.<

Magic is a completely valid scientific explanation to explain magical girls. I'm a scientist, I would know.

Don't try to base their show and tries to explain it scientifically using current understanding if it is for entertainment, then I won't have a problem with most of the gundam franchise. I have watch enough gundam shows to know that they are utterly crap in this regards.

And the only "science" that UC Gundam offers to explain their robots are minovski physics, and the show itself barely even touches that? You mentioned not liking "walls of text detailing the scientific reasoning" behind mecha in all these shows, which I guess encompasses most Real Robot shows. Could you give me examples of what you meant by that?

Steins;Gate has more nonsensical bullshit science babble than every Gundam show I've seen combined. Noein too has plenty of quantum hijinks that don't actually make sense. Nanoha season 1 had more exposition of its unbelievable fantasy world mechanics in 13 episodes than Zeta Gundam did in 50.
Spazer recommend me a manga...
that's finished and has a good ending.

All he did was respond in agreement about gundams being unrealistic. Second, I only watched maybe 1-2 gundam shows but I never seen the shows try to explain the gundams using science or really anything with science. From what I seen gundam is about the war and the people not the setting and validating it with realism. Thats just from what I seen tho I could be wrong

Although I dont think that has anything to do with how realistic mecha shows are which is a pretty moot argue about but if were doing it I think Spiral tech is the future of mankind.
