And I also agree with KazeHydra's point that the Achiga cast is boring. I found the most interesting person on the team is the coach, Akado. I would rather see the Legend of Achiga in action as her team beating Bansei and going to Nationals rather the current Achiga team.
For the most part, the Kiyosumi team members were each interesting in their own way. The Achiga team pales in comparison. It doesn't give a good reason to cheer for Achiga at all except for giving this team a chance to play Kiyosumi. Even then, I want Kiyosumi to wreck face.

Saki the rinshan kaihou user!!! Evil eye with lightning bolts hahaha how I've missed this stuff. So now the rest of the series is these girls getting raped by monsters right? As long as I get to see some epic MJ action with supernatural effects I'll be happy.
Also, this entire main cast is boring. Only girl I kinda care for is the one voiced by Kana Hanazawa and I don't even think the voice fits lol + Show Spoiler [Saki: Achiga-hen - 3] +All that hype about Bansei being the best school in their prefecture and they got disposed of within the first ten minutes. The pacing is ridiculous. We went from the prefecture tournament to training camp to Nationals in one episode.
Saki is godlike. Shizu declares that she has to beat Saki. Defeating the titular character? Good luck with that! Not gonna happen. + Show Spoiler [Saki Achiga-hen] +Happens in the manga too. The pacing thing at least. Saki 3 + Show Spoiler +They can try and evil-fy/final boss Saki as much as they want, but I'm going to be cheering for her whenever she gets any screen time lol. + Show Spoiler [Achiga-hen] +Except she won't lol. Achiga is on side A of the bracket. Kiyosumi is on side B. Also in the event that they make the finals, 12 episodes isn't enough to show the finals themselves.
And the point isn't that Saki is evil, it's that she's a monster, and Achiga is unfortunately composed of normals. Consider that they were trounced by Koromo. Now consider that they have to face Shiraitodai and Teru.
Thus, monster rape. + Show Spoiler +Oh, finally I get the monster rape joke. And does it mean the ridic pacing stops soon, then? Needs actual mahjong action or I'll get bored soon.

Saki 3 + Show Spoiler +Well, they have that one girl that steals Dora's, but that's it. I already figured that since Koromo was owning them so easily that they don't stand a chance against any of the schools that have players with special powers.
Bansei was all hype and only team that made Nationals in their prefecture, but that's probably cause no school in their prefectures had players with any special powers. Hopefully there will be epic mahjong action from the schools they get raped by, cause I'm not expecting much from the Achiga-hen normal team.

+ Show Spoiler [Hyouka] +Superbe arts, trademark of kyoani. The story is pretty meh for the moment. I though they overplayed the detective part in this first ep. It felt false and forced. Because of that it didn't interest me that much. Characters can be goods. the hero have the same motto than me, the main girl is a basic energie filled brain-lacking anime girl (i don't say i dont love it ), the hero's friend is a little more annoying for me, but we'll see. So will watch ep2, but not realy sure if i'm loving it or not, it's realy strange atm.

+ Show Spoiler [Nyaruko - 3] +LOL @ Nyaruko saying "Nii-nii" to Mahiro. Did she really pull a chainsaw from under her skirt? Mahiro is a bit annoying. He just needs to accept the fact that a silver-haired loli is throwing herself at him.

I've also read it more often than you, probably. From start to finish Kiritsugu is explaining his reasoning for his method of murder, as it bothers Iris. Iris told him to speak to Saber once. Once, in the entire monologue (which I'm surprised you didn't bring up), does Kiritsugu acknowledge Sabers' words: the part about the battlefield being better than Hell. In general though it is his conversation with Iris denoting his utter disdain of all heroes and what they stand for (mass, justified bloodshed). Most people are under-appreciate the level of love that existed between Kiritsugu and Iris. For him there was a pressing need to justify himself to her, and attempt to gain her acceptance of his methods and his thoughts. Bearing in mind of course that Iris understood his exact goal to begin with, so it was a short reaffirmation (hence why it may seem like he's rambling out of the blue). Saber happens to be there, a pitiful third party attempting to justify herself to one party who doesn't care to hear it (because he knows exactly how Saber feels, and understood from the start that they would have no mutual understanding, ever). It's also telling that Iris cares little for defending Saber beyond a feeble attempt to have Kiritsugu ATTEMPT to make peace, yet she too understands that it's simply never to be (the scenes in Russia early in the series). It is her personal wish that they have some level of friendship (her attempts to persuade Saber about Kiritsugu's just cause).
To assume that there is conversation between Saber and Kiritsugu, or even to believe that Kiritsugu CARES about Saber in the slightest bit to converse in the first place, is to fail to understand the mindset of Kiritsugu and the complete and utter disdain he has of the battlefield and the heroes that have been worshipped on it for thousands of years. She tells him to talk to Saber twice (17:56, 18:21). And I did point out Kiritsugu acknowledging what Saber said. I outlined how the entire conversation went in my last post, IDK how you could have missed it. Kiritsugu never even bothered to offer any explanations to Iris to try and justify himself to her, until Saber said something. Saber didn't just happen to be there, she was the one who started the entire conversation! Kiritsugu has no intention to listen to Saber, but its not like he can just turn his ears off and not hear her (which means he heard her question). Kiritsugu doesn't care what Saber thinks, but he cares for what Iris thinks. Iris wanted him to answer Saber's questions (thus why she told him to talk to Saber twice). Kiritsugu started talking to Iris, but the question was asked by Saber, and what Kiritsugu was saying was answering Saber's question. It doesn't "seem like hes rambling out of the blue", because its clear hes answering Saber's question through talking to Iris. Its clear the conversation was provoked, and its clear who set the subject matter, and its clear who the participants were.
Which question? I dont think he answered any of saber's questions, he merely spoke his mind in her presence. The exchange seems to indicate that he has no respect for her. Anyway, why is this little detail relevant?

Because apparently some people can't fathom that their favorite grimdarkmaturemoralssuck character ever has an aspect of childishness to him.

Kiritsugu childish? impossible...

Hah, I just noticed something in To Aru Kagaku No Railgun ep12, at ~13:23:
Note: bit of a spoiler for the light novel, I guess
+ Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/1OeJ1.png) It's ITEM! :o ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/CauSV.jpg) Old as hell I guess, but... heh. Looks too similar to not be them.

That full team showed up in manga actually, guess they just decided Item is too moe to not do.

Haven't read the manga actually, only anime and the light novel. And tbh I wouldn't call ITEM very moe + Show Spoiler +Mugino... kinda scary person , though I guess the others do weigh up for it...
So annoyed at there not being a third season incoming of Index atm, they went with an anime original movie instead, grrr...
...well, I do hope that will end up being good and not messing with the light novel's story too much. I do want that made into anime...
On a side note, ep 3 of Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san was nice, gotta love the Amagami SS reference :D Nii nii! Also FMA reference and a continued high yuri level with the weirdest love triangle I've seen in a while. It sure does entertain me, hah!

Well yeah... didn't think of that. Still, regardless of her appearance, she's really scary.
Though I have to say I also find it quite scary to have a power that has enough "recoil" to make your own arm go to hell, Meltdowner feels far too risky... I do imagine it looking quite pretty though, that's why I want to see it animated! Rainbows!!!

Considering the folks we had to put up with that vol, an all girls group was relatively moe no matter what they did. LN story is shit anyway, I'd much rather see Railgun be canon simply because we have to put up with less stupidity that way.
Only thing that potentially interests me in the prospect of S3 is a bit more Misaka and some appearances of Laura, or basically not enough for me to want to put up with all the crap characters.
