School Days Sola Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
I meant currently airing oops... because I haven't been following anime this season at all yet. >_<
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Currently, there are 4 1-hour long episodes that have been released out of 6. Each episode takes awhile to be released, but it is a VERY good anime/OVA. It's the only Gundam I've ever liked.
except maybe for kaoru. id wreck her so hard......
shes so damn hot, my god...
No need to be ashamed.

C^3 Fate/Zero Ika Musume
In that order. Honorable mention to Haganai. Don't listen to these other guys. They're just haters.
if i were to choose which arcs were my fav, id have to go with kaoru>morishima>rihoko>nanasaki>ayatsuji>sae
kaoru reminds me of how me and my ex started going out.
morishima cause Itou Shizuka is just too damn kawaiiii (+1 KazeHydra)
rihoko cause shes just too damn awesome.
haters gonna hate.
Rihoko......really now....
Rihoko was kinda annoying but her personality was interesting. Sae (or that really quiet girl with big boobs) annoy the shit out of me. The way she talk was just incredibly annoying to me because she talk like her throat is try or she choking on something. Also, Ayatsuji was a Tsundere not a Yandere! How dare you confused her! :O

I don't watch as much as I used to, and spend more time reading light novels instead. But this season Fate/Zero and Haganai has really caught my attention. Surprising since I've read both light novels and therefore more or less knew the plot. Also tried Guilty Crown due to how much I absolutely loved Code Geass. But that series is boring as hell so I've dropped it.
It's actually kind of hard for me to imagine someone who enjoyed Code Geass not liking Guilty Crown.
They're just so similar, plot, character, and theme wise.
After watching a few episodes of GC, I think that GC appeared to be a new CG. However, the main character personalities of both anime are different, which undoes any similarity. CG was centered on the MC, Lelouch, who was a intelligent, strong-willed, determined guy. The entire anime focuses on him and his actions. On the other hand, GC focuses on Shu, a weak, wimpy, shy teenager who doesn't have a clear goal unlike Lelouch. Since both anime completely focus on the MC, both anime split from each other. CG revolves around how Lelouch changes the environment around him, while GC focuses on how Shu tries to go with the flow, and is controlled by others. Fans of CG will be disappointed in GC due to the differences of the MCs, since they are virtually opposite.
I agree with the above. But even more differences with other characters. CC is a million times better than Inori, even though Inori might be the hottest drawn woman I've ever seen. The storytelling is much more coherent in Code Geass, where it meshed with the action sequences quite well. While Guilty Crown sacrificed plot in order to have more stuff blowing up. When I finished watching an episode of Code Geass back when it aired, I kept wondering what's going to happen next. When I finished watching an episode of Guilty Crown, I kept wondering if the next episode will actually show something relevant.
Edit: my opinion of course. I can see how Guilty Crown would interest viewers. But it didn't do it for me. And the early opinion from Japanese fans seems to agree. It's not nearly as popular as Code Geass was when it came out. So it at least lack the mass appeal.
Popularity is not a measure of quality. Its your opinion on GC and Geass, sure. But don't bring up popular opinion to try and justify it.

Only Gundam you ever liked, when the main difference between Unicorn and most other Gundam shows is production value. Unicorn isn't doing anything original with plot or storytelling. Unicorn is essentially fan service for Gundam fans. lol.

Umm... Popular opinion is a very relevant point given that the post I intended to respond to says "It's actually kind of hard for me to imagine someone who enjoyed Code Geass not liking Guilty Crown." Feel free to check all the nested post if you need to understand the conversation.
So yes, public opinion does matter because if many people loved CG also don't care for GC, it would mean me feeling the same way isn't very strange at all. If anything, it would imply many others share my opinions for these two shows.

He felt it was strange. What the hell does popular opinion have to do with that? Nothing.

[111116] (wav+cue) google first page has some stuff recently out.
Nevermind the voice acting, Lelouch is just a lot more bad ass than Shu. The protagonist of a lot of anime aimed at male adolescents is designed for the viewers to connect with right? I know that I personally would rather be Lelouch than Shu.
