Couldn't they accomplish the same thing by just having the robots controlled by some dude with a laptop? I mean, LOL at ejecting from a remote-controlled robot.
Maybe there will be some plot BS that the robots are powered by some made up element that requires you to link your soul to the power core. Mostly likely its just going to be explained in the same way they explained that stuff in the Matrix. It looks like they are linking the robot's control to the pilot's nervous system, and thats the reason for the feedback. tl;dr your are complaining about this issue for the wrong reason. The real reason to complain about that is why feedback like that exists in the first place. But why is there feedback like that in the first place? -_- This is just me talking out of my ass here: Could you imagine, if youre able to control your actual body without pain? In other words. If your entire body was numb, would you be able to have the reflexes and reaction speed that you normally would have? Apply the same idea to mechs. Maybe they associate their nervous system with the robot's movement and controls. So in order to gain better reflexes and reactions, they also get the side effect of feeling inflicted pain? Shit man, idk man. Im just drunk off GSL finals yet. I hope someone could at least somewhat understand what im talking about here... Better control is fine and dandy, but when you're losing your pilots due to innovation, that's a pretty clear indication that you've fucked up. I could care less how many mechs I lose - they may be expensive, but they can also be mass produced and replaced. Pilots, on the other hand, take time, effort, and money to train. Just look at the Eishi from MLA. Incidentally, this is one of the reasons why Germany lost the Battle of Britain.
but thats why u have taketatsu ayana in a spandex suit to bail u out with her butt in case ur about to die

guilty crown 2:
+ Show Spoiler +so the fanservice does not bother me one bit, what bothers me are the giant failures in pacing and plot, when they get into position to rescue the hostages, they take it nice and slowly, sounding quite professional, then the hostages get shot, OMG ITS TOO LATE FIRE DEM MISSILES NAO..... and then after that how did they know what kind of weapon this unappealing psychoretard of a daddys son would give, "does he look like a (laserdeflection-) bitch?"
and then they go ahead and say "everthing goes according to plan"! wtf!
i mean backlash on pilots etc are things you can simply say exist because the author wants the technology to work this way, but these two things are just plain bad.

Im with you there 100% son.
I thought the series was good. But it definitely didnt deserve the praise that it got. Especially from what I seen on SanakuComplex.

People are hyping for Gen Urobuchi, look at how fate/zero got all the hype as well? Sadly chances are slim for Song of Saya to be animated.

Madoka is objectively not amazing, but the control of pacing and the fandom that it drew made the period of time when it was airing a pretty incredible experience.

+ Show Spoiler [Shana - 3] +Great. An ENTIRE EPISODE of reminiscence. What actually did happen could have been explained much quicker. I guess it makes sense for people who haven't seen Shana in a while, but really? >.>

If you watched it back when it was still airing in the winter, you wouldn't be saying that. Unless you were a hater like Mystlord.

Mawaru Pengiundrum is the only show that makes me even more confused with each new episode.....WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON !?
Oh and about Yuri's Father + Show Spoiler + Did he rape her or just tried to "sculpt" her to be more beautiful? I think it was implied he was rapping her with but not really sure....

I actually thought this episode cleared up a lot of WTH IS GOING ON from previous episodes haha.
+ Show Spoiler + At least now we know how Momoka looks... after 14 episodes. I thought it was just a sick way of sculpting... like all those sculptures that were missing limbs, but a living breathing sculpture instead.

I just finished the episode and that's the exact same thing i was wondering.
+ Show Spoiler + my impression is, that rape is implied by the sculpture scenes. The things her father said about loving her and the symbolic way they showed the chisel are both hard to misinterpret . The show is rated 13years+ - they tried to avoid graphical violence, i think. The whole Yuri story line gets more intriguing as well

As for the physical injuries, I attributed them to sadism.
