I can't be the only person in the world that likes it. Im digging Guilty Crown too, dont worry :D + Show Spoiler +I think the reason why people are being so critical about Guilty Crown is because of the hype. I guess people were expecting something original and unique, but instead they felt like they got a Code Geass 2.0. I really dont mind, I still think the anime itself is very good. And note, that there is still plenty of episodes left to make this anime veer in its own original direction. If it makes you feel better, I like Guilty Crown also. However, you should note that I'm one of the few people here who not only likes both seasons of Code Geass, but CG is also my favorite anime (my MAL is very different from most peoples, hehe). Like Southlight said, I'm enjoying Guilty Crown as well. I don't buy into other people's hype anyway, even though so far it is like Code Geass 2.0, its Code Geass season 1 2.0, which is perfectly fine with me. This is all just personal taste. There is no "objectively" best anime. My favorite types of anime are the very silly types: school life, romance, slice of life, comedy. Im not a shounen type of guy, but I felt like I needed a change of pace this season, hence why Im so hyped for Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki. So are you more of the K-ON! type of guy or Kimi ni Todoke? They're both school life but the mood is totez different. I liked both seasons of CG too actually, but I'm not too into GC. Too much fan service from Inori is a turn off. Otherwise, it's a good series to kill time with during this season. I never watched Kimi ni Todoke, though everyone keeps recommending that to me. I saw about 80% of K-ON!! and I think that its okay. But Im more towards the serious side of slice of life/school life. Like, my top animes would prolly be Hanasaku Iroha and 5 Centimeters Per Second. Stuff that makes me shed manly tears. But I also enjoy stuff that makes me crack up once in a while: Like Baka to Test or Softenni. Kaiji is manly tears. LoGH is manly tears. Hanasaku and 5cm/s? Not manly tears. People unfortunately don't know what manly tears imply. Manly tears isn't simply a man crying. LoGH overflowing with manly tears... I think the overhype of GC just made everything seem worse than it is. I picked up CG on my own with no expectations and liked it. lol, that happened to me too. I watched 3 episodes...and read about 25 episode summaries on Wikipedia before deciding that the 100 episodes was justified, and then studying came around (and I watched Madoka, S;G). TT

+ Show Spoiler [Guilty Crown 2] +I still don't understand why the pilots of the robots get hurt too. Couldn't they accomplish the same thing by just having the robots controlled by some dude with a laptop? I mean, LOL at ejecting from a remote-controlled robot.
Maybe there will be some plot BS that the robots are powered by some made up element that requires you to link your soul to the power core.

ok so i started playing muvluv, and i just beat meiya's and sumika's routes in extra. however, when i try to play unlimited, its in japanese, while all of extra was translated. can anyone help? :/

Check where you acquired it from, someone should've had a similar problem and others posted solution for it.
Sometimes I had to save at a point and skip a scene or two because it wouldn't 'go-on'.

Uhh, there's only one patch for Muvluv and Unlimited since its the same game, so I dunno what you did... Are you sure you installed the latest version of the patch? Also, follow this installation guide. Make sure you follow it exactly. From my experience, the install is rather picky. You might have to replay the extra routes, but you can just hold ctrl through everything, so no big loss.
The first arc of Chihayafuru is kinda boring. I think the show could really use some lightning, flower petals, BM, and yuri.

Maybe there will be some plot BS that the robots are powered by some made up element that requires you to link your soul to the power core. Mostly likely its just going to be explained in the same way they explained that stuff in the Matrix. It looks like they are linking the robot's control to the pilot's nervous system, and thats the reason for the feedback. tl;dr your are complaining about this issue for the wrong reason. The real reason to complain about that is why feedback like that exists in the first place.

But if you actually think about it, that explanation won't hold water, when you ask "why would you design a machine to give a pilot feedback like that?"
But in the end, its a fucking mecha anime. If we are going to be overly critical of the sci-fi elements in the show, on 'how they exist' and 'why they work', there are alot of things that need to be criticized first. Just need to accept it and enjoy the show.

This is just me talking out of my ass here:
Could you imagine, if youre able to control your actual body without pain? In other words. If your entire body was numb, would you be able to have the reflexes and reaction speed that you normally would have?
Apply the same idea to mechs. Maybe they associate their nervous system with the robot's movement and controls. So in order to gain better reflexes and reactions, they also get the side effect of feeling inflicted pain?
Shit man, idk man. Im just drunk off GSL finals yet. I hope someone could at least somewhat understand what im talking about here...

But why is there feedback like that in the first place? -_- This is just me talking out of my ass here: Could you imagine, if youre able to control your actual body without pain? In other words. If your entire body was numb, would you be able to have the reflexes and reaction speed that you normally would have? Apply the same idea to mechs. Maybe they associate their nervous system with the robot's movement and controls. So in order to gain better reflexes and reactions, they also get the side effect of feeling inflicted pain? Shit man, idk man. Im just drunk off GSL finals yet. I hope someone could at least somewhat understand what im talking about here... In the end its a machine. They would have to build in nerves into the machine to transmit the pain back to the pilot. And seeing how its a machine, you can decide what signals to transmit, and what signals to not transmit. And there is no reason to transmit signals to the pilot that could kill them. The reason its remote controlled in the first place is to avoid things like that (or you would think so). I don't see any good reason to link up nerves to the mechs anyway. Anything beyond simply vision is overkill. Mechs aren't meant to be people, or to work like people. They are meant to work like machines. There is no reason to artificially impose human limitations like pain onto them.
Getting trapped in the idea that mechs have to be human-like will totally prevent awesome tricks like the following:

(detached arms, fires them from the ground)
But like I said, this is a mecha anime. We aren't supposed to dwell on that type of stuff.

Better control is fine and dandy, but when you're losing your pilots due to innovation, that's a pretty clear indication that you've fucked up. I could care less how many mechs I lose - they may be expensive, but they can also be mass produced and replaced. Pilots, on the other hand, take time, effort, and money to train. Just look at the Eishi from MLA.
Incidentally, this is one of the reasons why Germany lost the Battle of Britain.
