I also hoped it would be longer. I could bite back at the ending a bit but...

Just boring hypothetical bullshit if u ask me Have you ever read a book? I loved this movie when I saw it about a year ago, the story is pretty gripping and I wouldn't go as far as to call the acting bad, just dodgy at times and then again only by some of the actors. It's like reading a good book

I've always felt that Jesus was a great teacher in history just like Buddha, and was "used" as a martyr to bring Christianity and the Church in power. For me, the explaination in the film makes more sense than the contemporary view on the life of Jesus Christ.

Most of them have ADD and won't make it pass the first 10 minutes, but perhaps a few will enjoy it as much as I did. Spoilers! + Show Spoiler + My audio kinda blurred out at the end, but I assume Chilly Willy, the guy who had a stroke was his son...

+ Show Spoiler + i do agree somewhat with u though. Its highly likely that much of the bible is just stories that are loosely based on history. There are a bunch of non-canon books of the bible and many versions of the truth. The official bible was made from a conference of influencial bishops. It was then modified a great deal. Constantine even chose the Trinity to be true for roman chatolics. We are suposed to believe that all these men had the holy spirit in them.. but ehh. Its kind of likely that there were political economical, personal influences in these decisions. It all comes down to faith in the end I guess. You just have to believe that the writers in the bible were inspired by God, and that it was all in his guidance that we have the book we seee today. Personally, im leaning towards "one should just learn the good values and teachings from the bible and not get too carried away by tyhe mystical elements."

It's pretty obvious since his girlfriend asks "Is it the first time you've had to watch your own child die?" or something along those lines

John says "your mother's name was..." something, and then the old guy says "you left us". and so on. But they should have left it all hanging, it would have been much more intriguing then just giving us undeniable proof... oh well.

Or "learn the good values and teachings from Buda" like the movie propose I personally never read neither, but there are so many people and books talking of so many similarities between Buda, Christ and Mohamed's teachings that I find it very likely that one influenced the other somehow. The whole "be nice to others is the key to happiness" is the same global philosophy.
