Mb he gave up on live but was too strong to be killed? Btw the webtoon is awesome. Also as far as I understood it, Tian more or less fought each one on one, so as Ah Gou beat red dragon, he could be close in power. Also considering that that they gave him a hard time before receiving multiple powerups (if that ever meant something), I could see this fight turning out to be interesting. Yi Zhu is still around, right? Same for monk SK. This might end in a 1v1 though, as Tian is as much of a final boss as one can wish for. As weird as it sounds, I'm kinda hyped for rezz-no-jutsu.

He basically stayed alive mostly to help resurrect his close to dead wife with the crystals that he made the humans mine but once she got stabbed by Ah lan, well, she was dying for good now. Given, he did fight against Ah Gou and the dark ones before Shen Yen "killed" him so I wonder how he managed to come back. Also, what's his purpose in fighting now? Does he just want to settle a score with Ah Gou seeing as they never finished their fight? Also, I've been wondering about it, but, could this be the battle that finally gets Ah Gou to push his monochrome powers to their max? True dark prison is good and all but white wall is where it's at. Imo, it's his only chance to beat Tian seeing as the difference between the two was large in their first encounter (Ah Gou used a ton of power from fellow dark ones to stay close to being even) and even though Ah Gou has gotten much stronger, I'm sure a difference still exists in their strength.

I find it hard to believe Tian is way stronger than the other ancient dragons. I mean, the red / yellow dragons were beasts.

That's just not his character. His character is selfish and looking out for his best interest. He also avoids fights he has a huge disadvantage in. He knew Tian was untouchable. I guess his intelligence paid off by making that smart wager, but Ah Gou still should've taken that offer. I find it hard to believe Tian is way stronger than the other ancient dragons. I mean, the red / yellow dragons were beasts. hmm I wondered the same but I think he realizes that if he agrees, everyone will die including Bai Cai. We've seen him sacrifice his soul to be with her after she died way back so I'm sure that was a major contributor to his answer. well, when you have a lot of other gods including those legendary dragons speak so highly of Tian, you know that something is up. Of course they are beasts but seeing as he defeated them all, he's a much much bigger beast than they are. Ah Gou would've definitely lost if he fought Tian so the wager wasn't a terrible idea. I like the way he tried to lead Tian into it lol. On March 19 2016 03:30 Elizar wrote: And yet, Tian killed all the other ancient dragons all by himself at the same time. Loved the ending. One of my favorites, so I'm sad that there won't be more chapters. Of course, the actual manhua ended a while back, but I'm glad that the translations made it all the way through.

didn't kill Ah Gou in the end. I mean, I would've accepted it but it would've made for a much sadder ending As for the kid, I also wish we got more information on who he is. It could easily be Ah Gou's biological child or as mentioned, the remaining dark ones kid who was alive after the rest committed suicide. Thanks for the translators for doing an awesome job as well even if they don't read this and to all the posters who chimed in and gave their own thoughts as the story progressed.

You'll think that as a true son of Tian and a Dragon Goddess, he'll be a lot stronger without having a mantra curse and merging his life force with a pheonix to prop him up. I think he's the kid of Tian and some other goddess. Guess even Tian gets bored waiting for his lover to resurrect for thousands of years. At the start I thought that evil sorceress had an affair with Tian, so she might be the mother. Would explain why she tells phoenix guy to live on and search for a purpose in his life. I mean he's clearly not a dragon. Yellow dragon also calls him "a new god", despite guessing that he's the son of Tian. Tian's gotta be the most bored guy ever. + Show Spoiler + He lets his enemies survive and doesn't destroy the world just because he thinks that that would be less interesting than stalking the mc. I mean, the red / yellow dragons were beasts. I think he declined the offer to show his growth as a character. He has found things to fight for, even if the odds are against him. We saw a glimpse of that when he sent his uncle away to protect the last dark ones. Or when he threw away small phantom island's spirit's offer to sacrifice herself to save him.
