As far as I can tell, it's a book about the people who ran the global economy during the early part of the last century. I hope it's good!

Maybe I'll do that again (it's been ages since I last read the Bible), but I think I'm planning on reading more on the "lifestyle" part than the "story" part of the Bible for now ![]() On January 17 2013 18:51 sam!zdat wrote: The New Atheists are hack sophists. ![]() A peoples history of the United States: Goes behind the accepted truths and paints a more real picture of slavery & America. It's a great read and the book I spend most time with atm ![]() 1984: For when I need some fiction to stimulate my brain. ![]() A Clash of Kings: I've read all the ASOIF books and this one stands out as the best. The characters are so likable and it's full with drama and politics. I love taking a stroll through the familiar rooms in this book. Reminds me of War and Peace. Not so much to find new things but just to revisit the King in the North, Lannisters, Baratheon brothers etc.

![]() reads of much smoother than I thought. I expected to google the terms and historical references alot more, though book keeps you informed enough to manage.

![]() So good. The author drops insight like nobody's business, and the fantasy setting is quite unusual. Manipulation lies at its heart.

Now LeGuin (particularly the first 3 Earthsea books), that's some fantasy that's not trash in the slightest. And The Left Hand of Darkness is top notch sci-fi, I think I'm gonna read The Lathe of Heaven soon.

Smoking DMT is the shortcut version of lucid dreaming.

I've read the book and I've watched tons of documentaries on DMT and Ayahuasca. I'm going to go with ayahuasca first. The buildup to the experience isn't anywhere as instant as straight DMT

Game of Thrones is probably the only (edit: post-Tolkien) epic fantasy that's actually worth reading. Not true, in my opinion. The Malazan Book of the Fallen is definitely worth a read.

DMT: The Spirit Molecule is not required reading for DMT use; in fact, reading that book prior to the experience will likely influence the event in one way or another, which is fine and dandy. A still mind and some experience with lighter psychedelics is all that one really needs though (and even the latter is up for debate ![]()
