I pretty sure Midora didn't attempt to kill the Nitro. He just spooked it a little and it jumped through the gaps of the hungry space left from his fight with Ichi. Also the Disciples are stronger than 8 kings given what was said at the beginning of Midora vs Ichiryuu and I'm pretty sure that the Capture levels will vary from each member of each species of King just like any other.


Kind of a bit to announce the capture level of a king at this point as it kinda limits what the power scales can be imo.

Fix that for you. So no, we dont have anything to compare about the Nitro/8kings

Here are my source:
The wiki says that Derous is one of the 8 kings, not the ancestor of the 8 kings
Mangapanda/Mangareader translation stated that Derous is one fo the 8 kings, and what Midora went though is a descendant of it.

Unless you can provide a better translation from the raw, I dont see why you have come to that conclusion.

so the Wiki is wrong, Derous was never one of the 8 kings his kids eventually became to be called one of the 8 kings, he was THE king and then he died, just like there was a time when the Battle wolf was THE king and they waned

although reading it again Midora may have fought a younger one

at any rate theres still the "final area" where "god" is so well definently reach over 9000 capture level
