well If you feel some compassion for her I believe you did not quite understand the show yet ^^ She has done almost every possible wrong action she could...Why wouldnt you torture her? She has done so much worst...Just remember when she tortured that guy a couple episodes back...I dont understand how you could possibly believe she doesnt deserve to get an arm cut off... | ||

Eventually some roman woman would need to be the one giving spartacus son birth, but ilythia has been on the bad side for so long, trying to get spartacus killed multiple times, killing his best friend, betraying her man and being a stupid bitch all over... not the most obvious choice as the one getting spartacus his son IMO. then I dont quite understand why someone, with a free choice in any weapon combination he wants, would stick with double daggers... and then bash people with double swords and all. Also people dont seem to give a shit about arrows in this series, the one shot by spartacus girl was an instant oneshot, but the last episode had like the daggerdude taking three and not giving a shit, running right in them. glabber getting hit and just getting it out, to end up with a very minor wound later that day. | ||

The egyptian took arrows to "meaty" parts of his body (thigh, arm, etc). Glabber got hit in his breast which was covered in armor. The gladiators get cut and slashed all through their fights in the arena, I think the scene with the egyptian was just to show us that he can take a fucking beating like the gladiators can and that someone may actually pose a decent fight against them, cuz right now it looks like if spartacus and crew got a geological fighting advantage that they could kill an infinite amount of roman soldiers | ||

To be honest though, I couldn't give two shits about how accurate the series is to how the historical Romans lived and conducted themselves. Frankly, I love seeing such a wonderful abundance of oiled up female mammary glands. Makes me want to latch onto them and start suckling like a thirsty infant. There are other rather good and nuanced parts of the series such as certain character interactions/developments and Machiavellian scheming of the highest order. But lets face the facts, the show has been shored up by these two pillars of the basic Hollywood formula for success: lots of sex and lots of violence. My eyes eagerly await to see the blood flowing, the mammary glands jiggling, and specifically, what has become of Lucy Lawless' character! When I saw her topless for the first time the only thing I could think of was being a young lad at my neighbors house watching Xena: Warrior Princess and praying to a series of pagan deities that her jugs would burst forth from their confines for all to see. Its taken many years but it finally happened, not to mention with the added bonus of some girl on girl action! I haven't overstated my obsession with breasts with this post have I? | ||

No, she doesn't. But letting her go so she can do more bad stuff was fucking bad. Everyone should be given a chance to repent if that is within your power. But they should have kept here with them and let her live in same conditions they did. Should could have also been a good hostage and if they ever go surrounded to be killed she would share their fate. | ||
