He did write a new manga for a while. It was released last year or something and was called "Gigantomakhia" it was okay and I remember it because that was when berserk was on a huge hiatus and finding out that he was working on a side project sort of tilted me. Not sure I want him to work on another project, I am afraid the art will deteriorate if he works on a new project.

I can't even watch the new Berserk anime because of all the CGI. Fucking unwatchable. It makes me sad.

I'm glad we got a sorta-Berkserk-like chapter but it still feels like Miura is running on fumes. Last chapter we thought "now we'll see some serious shit" and now this chapter we saw some G-rated nightmare with another cliffhanger promising more down the line. I've seen enough Lost to know that when an episodic series is nothing but an advertisement for the next episode, the creators of the series have no real vision and are just taking people for a ride.

Miuras been running on fumes for the last 5 years. He doesnt know where to take the manga anymore.

only took him 6 months......
guess he's been busy working on season 2 of the anime, which came out yesterday!

Praise his fucking ass, and also, hallelujah that this isn't turning out to be a slog of a new arc. So glad one of my favorite manga is back at least semi-regular publication.
Not sure I can read the next few chapters if it means having to relive that Casca shit though... some of the most brutal shit in manga history.

Still unsure if Neo-Miura can pull this off. He isn't the same writer/artist he used to be. I have a feeling this will be a kiddie friendly version of the eclipse. I hope I'm wrong though.
